Update 11- September 1951
EUROPE AT PEACE! In the first time in over a year, the entire of the continent rests at peace. This is an uneasy peace however as nearly every nation is at odds. The three alliances of the Neutral Protection Alliance, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the Warsaw Pact stand ready to go to war with each other. Europe is once again a powder keg waiting to erupt.
ALBANIA WINS INDEPENDENCE! The Italians although lacking government direction(EQ didnt send orders), did say they would give independence over diplomatic lines. The Albanians rejoice over their new found independence. Albania is the newest nation in Europe and is so far the weakest. Many of the partisans who fought so hard for independence have returned home, leaving the Albanian military weak. The former leader of the Albanian resistance has become a temporary dictator. He promises his people a republic to soon form. The independence of Albania has weakened the Italian economy -1 wc per turn.
ALBANIA JOINS NATO! After winning its independence, Albania decides to join an alliance to better protect itself. Being spiteful of the Italians and not communist, Albania decides NATO is its best bet. Albanias joining has further solidified NATOs power in the Balkans.
GREECE AND TURKEY! Both nations have recently built up their military in perforations for any soviet or NPA invasions. Greece and Turkey have some of the largest armies and air forces in Europe now.
NPA NEARS SATELLITES! Portugal and France commit another 10 wc total towards this technology. NPA is now only 10 away.
USA AND USSR CONTINUE RACE! As the NPA near the technology, the United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics actually research them. Both are able to send another 5 up into space opening up more research into space. The data that is collected by the satellites and the experience gained now makes both countries able to send up space animals.
BERLIN REBUILT! Berlin has been completely rebuild. The city is now back to what it was and even better then pre-war. The city now is the most modern and most efficient in all of Europe. The Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag as well as several new memorials for ww1, the recent war and a large memorial for the nuclear explosion that destroyed the city. With the city now rebuilt, the Warsaw Pact is preparing to leave the country and re-establish Germany as a nation.
THE FINNISH WALL!? The Finns have drawn up a plan to built a Maginot like line running along the Soviet border. The Entire cost will be 70 WC, but many strategists think the Russians can no longer threaten Finland if it is built.
BRITANNIA! Britain strengthens itself by building more projects. The UK now has an Intelligence Agency that has been named MI6. A Propaganda Center in London helps bring in extra money and will help the army. A large Factory complex is built in York and helps strengthen the British economy, it also has become a major tank and plane producer. The UK now matches Sweden in economic power, without its colonies.

Before you ask rika, considering Italy didnt give orders, you were forced to do the research yourself. Your plan to side-step the rules with increasing economy didnt work now that you spent it on yourself. Thats why your wc per turn is the same. Same with you Alex, you cant increase economy and spend money at the same time.
