AMERICAN ELECTION! The American election is over.. Robert Alphonso Taft and his running mate Dwight Eisenhower have won the election. Having 33 million votes to Adlai Ewing Stevensons 27 million. Taft has carried 39 states and 442 electors to Stevensons 9 states and 89 electors. Taft will take office from Truman in January 1953(1 turn)
SWEDEN TAKES AMERICAN OFFER! The Swedes have taken Americas offer along with several nations in their purchase of technology. The Swedes were able to buy everything except improved tank armor and strategic missiles(already have it). Belgium, Hungry, Bulgaria and Albania have also bought improved tank armor. Greece and Austria has bought both improved Tank armor and advanced jets. This has given America a huge amount of money(255 wc)
USA DEVELOPS ICBMS! Using their new reserves United States scientists have developed Advanced Rockets and ICBMs. The US has already built one ICBM reportedly targeted at Moscow. The US has decommissioned 5 H-Bombs for 2 ICBMs . The US has also tested 5 advanced rockets and have developed human training.
SLOVAKIA TAKES UP USSR OFFER! The only Warsaw pact member to take up Russias offer, they have bought the plans to the Mig-15.
NORWAY FLIP FLOPS! Norway declares itself part of NATO only to then exit and declare itself part of NPA. Finland has also joined the NPA.
MEDITERRANEA BUILD UP! The Mediterraneans continue to build up their armed forces. The most striking thing is the creation of 2 atomic bombs. Meanwhile Mediterranea has tracked down and destroyed Red Dusk and recovered the Nuke.
VIETNAM WAR GROWS! As France supplies the north with Mysteres, the Chinese launch the attack. South Vietnamese forces are near defeat as the massive Chinese army closes in on Saigon. Resistance is expected to be very heavy.

MIDDLE EAST GOES FREE! Britain has pulled out of all areas except Kuwait, Kuwait still supplies Britain with a lot of oil, no outrage is heard.

Fierce resistance keeps them from taking Tel Aviv and the country. Israeli tactics have caused larger casualties on the Syrians then they have received.

TURKEY DEVELOPS THE BOMB! Turkey and Yugoslavia have developed the bomb, almost simultaneously. Turkey has also strengthened its military.
WARSAW PACT INVADES NATO! Romania and Yugoslavia have invaded Bulgaria and Albania. As Bulgarian and Greek forces move to meet this threat, Turkey occupies Sofia, joins the Warsaw Pact and launches an invasion of Bulgaria and Greece. The Bulgarian forces quickly become over run without lack of leadership and surrendered and the Greeks have been encircled. Bulgaria is coming close to falling. They have regrouped in the South and plan to retake the capital. Loses so far have been light, but they are soon suspected to rise quickly. The battle for Bulgaria has just begun.

NATIONS BEGIN THE DRAFT! The USA among many European nations(NPCs) have begun the draft. The US has built 2 new carriers. The US Atlantic fleet is scheduled to head out to Europe in January.
SOVIET FORCES ON THE MOVE! Soviet forces have been noted building up in Germany, Romania, Yugoslavia and Slovakia. It is unsure how many in each country or any specific details.
AUSTRIA INVADED! Slovakian troops have crossed into Austria only a week after the war begins. They have met tough resistance and have been halted outside of Vienna. It is uncertain how long the Austrian forces will last. Without NPA clearance, there is no possible way to aid Austria or Hungry.
