Not to mention the insane bonus you'd gain from having the freedopm of religion civic.
Which basically brings me back to my point, I understand there will be expansions, but they should be focused on more advanced things than religions. Since if you hate confucianism, and want Sikhism, then go into the editor, and rename confucianism to sikhism.
I'm not much of a modder myself but I found the Civ3 editor very easy to use, in which I edited certain functions that I missed from Civ2. I.E. The great wall of china granted all cities walls for me, rather than doubling the existing bonuses. I added a few new civilizations I wanted in, Such as Austria. I also added a religious government and facism. Along with a few other things.
And considering the general trend of Civ4 is to be easier to handle than civ3, then I'm sure the modding won't be hard outside of the XML as far as experiance in modding goes.
