It seems to me that it could make more sense to link the Favored Religion to the Culture Wonders instead of being linked to the leaders, as they are now. Whether this would be feasible or not I have no idea.

The upside of this would be that the Culture Wonders would be more important to build (obviously the AI would have to be tweaked) so that hopefully they would spread out a bit more.

The downside is that the Culture Wonders would be more important to build, and thus if the player was way ahead in techs they could easily get the majority of the Cultures and Religions (which they probably would anyway).

From wikipedia: The Romans themselves regarded the mysteries as having Persian or Zoroastrian sources. Since the early 1970s, however, the dominant scholarship has noted dissimilarities between Persian Mithra-worship and the Roman Mithraic mysteries, and the mysteries of Mithras are now generally seen as a distinct product of the Roman Imperial religious world.[4] In this context, Mithraism has sometimes been viewed as a rival of early Christianity.[12]
@SO,
No SO, Mithra was Not the Pre-cursor to Christianity. It was Emporer Constantine's and Justinians attempts at placating the Sun worshipers in his Empire with the fast growing Christians. So the Imperial Roman Emporer combined elements from both to get a compromise and stop the division that was rampant thru out the Empire between the 2 Main religious views, the Old Gods vs the new One God.

Don't mean to be mean, rude, or disrespectful to you SO, but your background in History and Religion is rather weak. But you are all wet on this one.

Could be:
"Whether or not they were rivals, it is certainly possible that these two contemporary communities had some influence on each other. In at least one area, it is clear that Christianity adopted an aspect of Mithraism - the celebration of the birth of Christ on December 25, a tradition that began in the 4th century."

I read it wrong before, it has dealings with ZOROASTRIANISM,
and you are correct, i have no idea what this Ru-ha is all about (religion), since it believes in a non-existent person.

Please no debates here thx.

You open up a can of worms like that and then ask for no debates? Either you are a very rude person or you have some massive stones. Or both. :crazyeye:

Both :p :devil::satan: See Bill Maher.com or Albert Einstein, Ideas and Opinions.
