Relive World Wars v5.1

Hiya!

I have a small issue. I have every DLC, and mod disabled, restarted the game a couple of times in every possible variations. Only this mod is enabled.
However, when I try to start a game, I get an error saying One or more mods failed to load content, and the game can't start.
I see the leaders, the difficulty settings on the game creation page, so it definetly sees the mod installed.
Any advice?
I don't have the steam version.
I'm happy to send any logs, if I knew where to look for them.
 
Managed to get it to work, however as the UK you can't place any districts, since I guess there are loads of forests, and you can't chop them.

That should be a mistake to be corrected. The UK started to be massively de-forested when the Industrial Revolution began at the end of the 18th Century. By the beginning of the World Wars Eras, what was left of the once-ubiquitous forests were scattered and sparse.

What's the range for re-basing air units? What are the exact changes between the base game and this mod when it comes to that? I built some air units that I can't use because I can't take them to the border cities. The range for re-basing them seems to not only be very short, but also inconsistent.

Also, what are the rules for the stuff that "prisoners of war" can't build when builders can? That also seems to be very inconsistent.

Just a reminder that I didn't include any map in my mod so, if there is forest it's map base generated. Otherwise there should not have any problem placing district.

Well, I've got to say, I play the mod with a friend between my patches. We were working the rebalance of airplane because we found it overated and they just got too much range. But by trying to make them from going too far, I've made them going not far enough. That should be fix within the next patch. The "rebase" and range are base on real airplane ranges so that is why it seems inconsistent.

As for the prisoner of war , I was trying to make them more like prisoner thing. I mean you don't send prisoner of war build farms, go fishing on boats or build windmill, it's more like industrial stuff like mines, quarries. That was my idea behind it.

Ok, no problem with this, but, can you put the limitations of the war prisioners in the civilopedia? I couldn't find this info in-game.
 
Hi, love your mod. A question, though. The GS version is unplayable as the AI will take an unlimited amount of time to complete their turn, so I can never seem to progress past turn 1.
 
So ... is there any chance that the GS version will ever work in MP. A buddy and I Loved playing the original mod together but we where sad to see that the new version doesn't work in MP. Plus everyone I show this mod LOVES it but then when I tell them the better/newer version isn't MP they get bummed out and me too. Just Hope someday ill be also the experience the mod with my. friends. Really want to see some guys army taken out by a flood.

I don't understand why you say it doesn't work in MP, I'm literally playing my mod with my best friends for years... There must be something with the set-up that is wrong.

So you don't have the steam version, I'm guessing you don't have the last version of this mod then ? I'll try to post a dropbox version here.
If your looking for the logs they should be there C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Oh, well dang I guess was just doing something wrong the whole time. Really wish I knew that so I could have been enjoying this awesome mod more. Although I'm still not sure why it doesn't work for me. I subscribe to the mod on steam, enable only it and GS, host a game, have my buddy join the game, start the game, but then civ breaks before we get to the character cards. What am I doing wrong? do need to enable more dlc, less dlc, or have the non gs version in there? also sorry for the very late response don't check this post often. Hope you can help me out and cheers!

Edit: Oh yeah and the same setup works in SP just fine.

Edit 2: supposedly on a reddit page its found that you have to own but not use all the dlc the game has to offer for it to work for some reason, maybe natural wonders?

Awesome mod but I noticed one thing. I tested in a few games with YnAMP and vanilla maps that Ai doesn't use their 2nd and 3rd settler at the start of the game (tested on default and highest difficulty setting). Is this a bug or something is wrong with maps. I tested it in vanilla and on deity civisilations rapidly expand and use their settlers.
Edit: Seems like Ai is working fine on Giant earth by YNAMP with TSL on. I'm guessing the map was not big enough for Ai to make another cities or they didn't have space. Even had problems with conquering Ottoman early game on standard difficulty. Does this mod increase minimum city distance placement?

Sorry for double post.

So I got it working, I just redownloaded the mod using a download manager so it didn't miss any files. (My last download was a few gigabytes short. Oops)

But I can't get it to work on YnAMP Giant Earth map. Trying to play as Finland, and the mod puts the civ somewhere in Africa and no units spawn.

After looking through some of the files, it seems that the game isn't reading Ynamp_ModSupport.sql at all. So the game is trying to put Finland in the vanilla TSL map location, which is completely wrong. Any idea how to fix?

Edit. After testing some more, some work, but others don't. So far I haven't been able to figure out why some civs have TSL and some don't on Giant Earth Map.
