Playing through the first game. I noticed some things that weren't as annoying in Civ 5 or beyond earth that Civ 6 seemed to miss. End game tech, trade, and counter spy selections were auto repeating.
1. End game techs. I didn't have to click a few times to select the end game future tech or civic tech. It kept repeating since there wasn't any tech choices left besides the same ones.
2. Trade routes in beyond earth seemed to stay with the same route until I told it otherwise. It is really annoying to keep setting up the same routes over and over again when you have 15+ routes and they only last 30 turns.
3. Also the counter spy is very annoying to setup. I know there is lots of options with the district system, but can't we have it repeat the same counter spy selection until I cancel it or want to change it? I don't need to click 5 clicks every time 8 turns for the 5 spys I have keeping my production centers safe from enemy spys.
These issues make the late game a clicking nightmare and make some of the ui useless when it keeps undoing the trade routes, counter spy, and tech selecting. It is nice to know were my spys are, but every 8 turns I have to select their missions regardless if I want to change it or not. Same with the trade routes nice to know my options, but I don't need to change them if they are still the best options. The ui should just give the list of known cities and their benefits and let me update my trade routes if I want to. The thing that really gets me is the step back for the tech repeating option. Why was it removed. It is pointless to give me an option select for the last ever tech that says it is repeating, but no option for it to repeat.
If I missed something in the options for these, sorry for the complaints. I looked through the options and didn't find anything or searches through the web. Just let me know what I need to update or change for settings thanks.
