adjusting the turn timer doesn't take effect until after the current turn is done.

Indeed. Unfortunately though, I forgot to change the timer back before the turn timer flipped so we have another turn at 99 hours.

I've changed it now so it'll be back to 48hours as of the following turn.

Hi,

I can't connect atm, it says my pw is incorrect (even if I didn't change it, and my keyboard is working properly)... any idea of what might be the problem?
To help, I am stuck with a prehistoric connection next two weeks...

Maybe you are using a different keyboard layout? I know that on french keyboards all the numbers are opposite of normal keyboards (you have to press shift to use them, while otherwise you don't have to do that). Maybe you have caps lock selected?

Neither of both unfortunately... I checked keyboard language, tryed the qwerty layout... caps lock is correct ...
Is there a way to redefine the pw?

I think the only way to change your pw is to kick your civ to AI and then reclaim it.

The only way to get kicked to AI if you don't have your pw is to get the admin to do it.

Sorry for the slow reply. I've been out of town for a few days and had limited access until now.

Ras - I've kicked your civ to AI so you can reclaim it and reset the password. Unfortunately, short of having me log in with my eyes closed to manually force an end-turn before doing so, there's not much that can be done to avoid 1 turn of AI control. If you find that it's done anything truly horrible (civics change, DOW or something similar) then let me know and we can go back to an autosave.

Hopefully you won't find anything like that...

Hi guys,

First thanks Munro for your hard work...
Second, the 3D card I was using to log in during my holidays is broken since sunday night... and there is nothing I can really do until the 5th of september .
I am currently in an internet coffee 45 kms from my place, but I am not sure I will do it every 2 days until the end of my vacation .
Worst is the horrible job done by deity AI... including destroying units

Anyway, tx again Munro, and neighbours, don't expect much communication from me next 10 days... I'll try to not miss a lot of turns

FYI - I'm going to be out of town for a couple of days, this Tuesday through Thursday. I'll probably be able to play my turns as needed, but won't be able to restart the server etc if there are any problems.
