Request: [Esc] key, Diplomacy menu, Deselect unit

These may be simple enough that a "switch" is already in place.

• [Esc] key: I'd like this to close currently opened windows (eg F6's tech advisor) without bringing up the "Exit/Retire/etc" Menu.
• [Esc] key: I'd like this to deselect the currently selected unit (if a unit is selected).
• [Esc] key: Bring up the "Exit/Retire/etc" Menu only when no window is open and no unit/city is selected.
• Can the Diplomacy window be made to persist after contact with another Civ is initiated through it?

These are small wishes. If they're easily achieved, sweet. If tedious to implement, I will trudge on without.
