Request for a New Style

Would it be much trouble to request a new style for the CivFanatics forum? I like a few of the styles, but my mind has become numb to the colors and everytime I use the same colors I tend to feel bored. I need some excitement in my browsing!

Actually the truth is, 3 of the available schemes make me go blind from the contrast of the colors, so I sortof limit myself that way.

Anyhow, I don't mean to make this sound like a spam thread. I was wondering if I could request a new color scheme for the boards that features the colors black and grey with white text. (it's easy on the eyes).

Would that be too much trouble, or should I just be happy with what we have and shut my mouth?

Im not going to say anything.......

Though a black on grey on grey (black outlines of boxes, grey reply boxes, lighter grey background) would be nice. But Ill stick with what works, classic CFC.

Hmm, yeah, a darker scheme would be easier on the eyes...

However, I'm fine with the current schemes as well .

I asked for the Yellow Green to come back in September when TF removed it, but he said no...and if it was restored, I would change back instantly

How about green text on a blue background?

Or Purple text on a yellow background?

Or Red text on a white background?

Here's another inverted colors screenshot, this time of Classic CFC instead of Mac OS X (ignore the black band across the top):

I think the extra teal color makes it look cooler.

I believe it's this type of thing:

Civilization Fanatics' Forums > CIVFANATICS > Site Feedback > Request for a New Style

In Mac OS X style, it's only at the top. In other styles, it is both at the top and the bottom.

Yep. Very useful, IMO. Of course, you can use the drop-down menu feature at the bottom of the page in all styles, and clicking the little "go" (in non-Mac styles) or arrow (in Mac style) is essentially the same as clicking the name of the forum on the chain. So it's not a huge deal.

But I hear that vB 3.0 will have bottom chains for all styles. Maybe it'll have "Get Emoticons" for all styles too...

ainwood said that TF got the Mac OS X style from a different site and that's why it's different - like the "Get Emoticon" button in the quick reply and the lack of bottom chains.
