So I've only played through once and my experience may be lacking but it seems like there is a lack of clear resource progression like there has been in past civ games. For instance: Iron->Gunpowder->Rubber->Oil->Aluminum->Uranium, etc.
In BE, there don't seem to be many, if any, early game resource requirements, then all of a sudden everything seems to demand something. Did I just build in some awkard way or is this really the case? What is the resource progression in BE?
To that end... I seem to jump from units that have 8-14 attack to all of a sudden having units that do 34 attack, so the unit progression seems borked as well.
