I think we should request that Imhotep recreate the save as a PBEM file and only e-mail it Dazz.

I was the first to download the map earlier.

I can't see anyone else involved in the game having downloaded it for cheating purposes ... I think the five of us are a pretty trustworthy bunch.

The file is labeled pbem.zip and has been viewed twice. I trust you guys and if you all look then....its a game... hopefully it was Dazz and a curious someone from elsewhere. Yes Imhotep could remove it from the post, that would be helpful if Dazz was one or both of the 2 views/downloads.

Do you know how to take this WB file and start a PBEM game with it? Will each of our civs automatically be placed on different continents with a single AI on each ?

I'm no expert, but my understanding was that someone would need to go in and manually ensure that each civ is located on the proper continents.

I only downloaded it once.

I too reckon it may have been a lurker who wanted a look at the setup ... after all, having a non participant create the map is a first for me so maybe someone curious just wanted a look.

might be cleanest to request a redo - should be pretty easy - load it up as a scenario - single player and regenerate map - will not need to put in civs, leaders, teams again. And ask imhotep to pm / email the start.

btw - can I get a copy of everyone's email address - going to use my auto-emailing program. It also sends GPSs to people. Mine is ruff_hi at yahoo dot com but you will see the emails coming from ruff.hi at gmail dot com because I cannot get my program to send email thru yahoo .

I actually downloaded the .zip file to try to figure out how to start a PBEM game with it. I was under the impression that a new map would need to be generated anyway since this file was posted for all to see. I assume Ruff downloaded it as well since he knew it was a WB file.

I didn't open the map in World Builder nor did I study the starting location (in fact, I didn't even look at it nor could I recall what was shown). I was just trying to see if a PBEM game could be created with it.

Again, I was under the assumption that a new game would need to be regenerated anyway.

Hopefully Imhotep gave instructions. If not I would open the zip file and place the file in the scenario folder. When you start the PBEM game the spaces should be labeled awaiting the info to fill name, email, etc during the start up when you choose this scenario as the game?? Just thinking out loud.

I looked at the file briefly when I downloaded and that is exactly what the situation was.
