Seriously, how/why the crap did 1000 people convert to a religion that just got pulled of of a 99 year old's ass? I'm a freaking totalitarian monarchy, and the ancient Egyptian gods are the (very well liked) state religion. Not only would they not want to convert, they wouldn't be able to convert.

the Emperor, Matthew Barabas I, has designed and built a custom made fighter. it looks to be from star fox, but is slightly weaker than today's (1970) jet fighters, overall.
there is only 2 missiles, but there are a pair of fighter guns. the armor is tougher than standard planes, able to resist relatively small arms fire, but not missiles.its max speed is slightly below mach one.
it will see combat, if and when the emperor chooses to command the air fleet. mostly, its just for training and sometimes joyriding.
