Yeah that bug is documented already Zapp and needs to be fixed in 2.8. There is an ugly interaction between BUG and changing teams in the python it seems. What I did not realise is that the game freezes. This did not happen in vanilla RevDCM that I could tell. Just a heap of ugly python/BUG warnings.
It was the vanilla RevDCM that froze on next turn after those python exceptions. First noticed it in RoM after I had merged your newest mod version and to isolate the problem I tested also your vanilla RevDCM as well to see if the same bug occurs there and it did. Freezing happened on battle zoom just before combat and also happened when I tried to capture workers. Couldn't see anything in the log files that would point to the cause...
 
Yes Avain, that one was caught a few days ago and will be fixed for 2.8. In the mean time just put it back to default in the SDK. It got commented out during the ground breaking MP testing Lemmy did and it was not put back due to human error. If people really want, I can release 2.722 that will fix it, otherwise wait until 2.8. The energy for the next release is starting to gather pace anyway and the sooner 2.8 the better.

My vote is just update the download with the fix. It's an easy fix, and the point of 2.72 was to get a release out as bug free as possible so development could be more open ended with 2.8. I see no harm in putting out a fixed 2.72 version with this issue corrected, and the work isn't very difficult or time consuming (recompile the gamecore with the minor change in CvPlayer, and repackage the installer). It's also an increadibly annoying bug, that's deep in the SDK so most users can't just fix it themselves quickly, so rereleasing is the only real way to get it done anyway.

is there a known error building the Project dependencies? I've added a new project and it gets selected as a requirement for all other projects (with bogus number of projects requirement)
Is there something known to be broken with modular loading of projects?

Yes, Projects can not be modularly added in RevDCM. I had to re-write the way they were loaded from a readpass2 to a readpass3 for modular projects to work.

I believe random events have the same problem. The cause is that WoC breaks most readpass2 loading.

I can post the updated CvInfos with the above fixes I referenced. It doesn't break saves.

Yes that would be great for version 2.8. I'm still waiting to hear what the big J says about your changes to AI building/promotion choices. All sounds good.

Yeah 2.72(2) just some tiny cleanup's like when your car cruises down highway and you pull over to the side to clean a bug splat off the windscreen. Something similar to that.

I haven't been playing civ much for a while, but thought it might be fun to download and to play the latest RevDCM. I'm getting diplomacy screens with no text options for diplomacy. Any ideas?

BTW, what is the status of MP with the current version of RevDCM? I read back a few pages, but didn't find what's up there.

Call me stupid but WinMerge says that there is no difference between 2.721 and 2.722 in the civics screen. :confused:

By the way - there is a little mistake in the victory screen. There is somewhere "NO HOLY CITY". You need to translate this text. ;)

You have been permanently added to the credits for RevDCM for your MP testing a few months ago thanks for that. RevDCM should now do all that you want it to do in MP except for defect and lead rebels. The next release will have more multiplayer features. If the diplomacy screen is dead, that will be because you have multiple installations of RevDCM. I keep forgetting why. Just check that there is only one RevolutionDCM installed on your system.

Yeah always I have to check that what I type in the documentation is perfectly clear. This documentation stuff up by me suggests that nothing was done at version 2.721. The civics got changed in 2.721 and the goodyhuts in 2.722. Don't be concerned. These were tiny last minute changes. The civics screen was crashing. If it's not crashing for you, you have the fix. If you get goodyhut messages and sounds, you have the fix.
