I am 2/3 of the way through a Bulgarian game and I have to RANT:
- As I said before, Bulgaria does not need an Orthodox Missionary on the start. I disbanded mine and it was fine. Bulgaria gets Orthodoxy within 2 - 3 turns anyway, it is absolutely unhistorical an pointless to give a Missionary.
- The Stability bonus from Faith Points could be increased a bit. From 1 Stability point per 5 Faith Points, I will try 1 Stability Point per 3 Faith Points. Also, I may give Byzantium some Faith to begin with.
- THE BIGGEST RANT: Why in the world so many wonders require a specific religion? I understand the point about the Crusader related corporations requiring Catholicism (even though it maybe disbalancing the game a bit), however, there are wonders that have nothing to do with religion requiring a religion. Magna Carta (Catholicism) and Amsterdam Beusr (Protestantism) being the most obvious ones, while the Dome of the Rock does not require any religion. Also the Marco Polo Embassy. There are also religious Wonders that require religion, but should not, such as Noter Dame, St. Sophia, Westminster Abbey ....
This makes no sense, I will have to be fixing this tomorrow.
