(RFC Modmod) Revival of Rome

I know, but Germany is too close to the Roman cultural area (more precisely Roman conquered lands). And since everyone knows the pope when they get catholic, it's no problem if it's in a place where no one goes. The other problem about placing the pope in Germany is that it weakens the German civ, and I don't want that : Iceland could (in theory) weaken the Norse civ by making its UHV impossible, but have you ever seen a Norse Iceland ?

Hai there, hasn't been an update in a few days so I thought Id stop being lazy and make one.

I move my SOD up to retake it, but stop to ponder whether I should retake it or burn it to the ground. Because maintaining stability is the single most important factor to my goal (something im quite bad at.) I shall stop here to think.

Advise on how to keep stability up is welcome! (please)

Stability eh? Well, collapse is inevitable with these guys. If I were you, I'd pull all my armies back to the capital, switch some civics, and let the collapse happen. Then, re-take your lands quickly (no units in the independent cities), and you'll have a fresh start. It worked for me.

Sounds good to me, And seeing as there are no civs bordering me anymore It will be quite easy

Great story!:) It inspired me to download the modmod, which reminds me: aren't you forgetting that turkey spawns in 1270AD, the next turn.

is this going to end?
