Ok, I should probably admit that further updates to this are very unlikely. Thank you to all who read and for the encouraging comments.

I've been away from RFC for over a year, and when I brought this game up I was, quite frankly, lost. After re-orienting myself, I saw that I was going for a space victory, but that I wouldn't be in time for it. Domination also is impossible. So, it would be another 20 years of very long turns and not much would change - except maybe a few cities changing hands and civilisation collapses (likely including mine). So... I got to 1997, close enough to the present day.

The other reason I don't think there'll be more updates is that I've embarked on an RFC:E adventure (see sig). That might take some time.
