have you tried to get a defensive pact with germany?
if you get germany in a war with the ottomans, they would stop attacking india and run to defend anatolia, Germany is always a super ally. if you ally with it, make use of the alliance to destroy the dutch (burn armsterdam), French (keep Paris). if you use diplomacy well enough you can make germany collapse, and you can get Frankfurt! so you could destroy europe with diplomacy, i already did that once.

Having any cities in Europe will really kill my stability. Before I bring the might of the Empire down on Europe, I want to first create the entire British Empire. I don't want to face a stability collapse before that happens. Once the people of Baghdad to Alexandria to Perth to Quebec all have fallen under my flag, then I'll make the European kingdoms kneel at my feet.

However, that did not stop me from creating the Spanish Empire and spanning it across all of Europe, North Africa, South Africa, the Middle East, India, Khmer Peninsula, Russia and southern South America.

The trick is to expand and when you start to go to shaky/unstable, stop expanding until you become stable again and then going out again. That's what kept me from collapsing when I annexed European Russia.

Sailing up the coast of East Africa my musketeer attacks the independent kingdom of Mobassa.

In 1605 I raze the city to the ground and found a new city (Mombassa version 2.0) one tile south of the original city.

In the same year, a British settler founds Stanely in South America on an Island just off the coast on a small island (I think its supposed to be the Falkland Island?).

In 1620, the British Indian army approaches Delhi. and communism is almost learned. The other civilizations are beginning to catch up to my incredible lead, but I'm still the clear tech leader.

In 1625 A pikeman from one of the Indian Independent kingdoms attacks and captures Lahore. Having to break my army into two, my knights recapture Lahore the same turn.
On a side note, I sign a defensive pact with Spain.

I lose Lahore again in 1640, but after years of bombarding Delhi's walls, Delhi finally falls in the same year.

With the Independent kingdom's borders having fallen back mostly to the area around Bengal, I am able to found my second Asian city of Surat on the ruins of the old city in Western India.

My army is poised to attack and recapture Lahore and then move east into Bengal to finish the invasion of India.

actually, you can expand outside your yellow+ areas whiout hurting your stability, until a limit. but anyway, it isn't hard to own Paris, Frankfurt,Marseilles and Rome with a strong stability. these cities are strong and will help your economy, stronger economy = stability. when people overexpand, its usual for them get killing instability thanks mostly to bad cities.
i am at a Germany game now, where i spam from Iberia to Kiev and Trebizond, i only got unstable when i started mass-razing. (razing a city = -2 stability. so yea,it can collapse the other idiot, but can collapse you too)

and yes, RFC stability maps aren't correct. USA has yellow in France and Italy (non-sense! they never ruled 1 cm of france and italy). while England has red in all France (seriously, they in the past had much of france in their control, and of course the claim to the crown. oh, and if not France, what's about NORMANDY?)
again, USAternizartion of the game(i created a word ), with USA having green ENTIRE (except like what? 5 tiles?) Canada, while UK just southern canada?
oh, French yellow in USA should be english yellow as well, even if the french started colonizing the area, they lost it to england, and england kept it for some time, of course)
another wrong thing is africa, that isn't with correct borders (what's with the scramble for africa?) and Mongolia (hell, even if after GK death the empire got screwed, there were still mongol kingdoms in China,Persia,India(Mughals till the british),etc... enough to mongolia have all these areas yellow/green)

No, ths argument is completely flawed. By your logic, Australia can't also be both a country and a continiet. What is so special about Australia that America can't similarly have it. And don't give me the, "Oh, but the US is the technical name". NO, IT ISN'T. The "US" is the government type "A (once)loose confederation of states".

For now on, I shall call Russia, "The Federation", or China, "The People's Republic", because apparently, that is what some people say we should only do with America.

Most of the map is correct. The only territories owned by Britain that don't show up on the map are Nigeria, Gilbralter, Malta, the Palestine and Transjordan Mandates, Iraq, and Pakistan. America's map is mostly correct too (I'm assuming the yellow in France and Italy represents war bases gained after WW2) but still.... I do agree though, Britain at least should have parts of France under its historical sphere of influence .

Australia is a continental country that has like what? almost the entire territory of the continent, so Oceania is just like Australia + New Guinea + NZ + some islands?
the american continent has a massive territory with many different countries.
i may call people that were born in the USA Americans the same way i can call Brazilians,Mexicans, Canadians,etc... Americans. but there isn't a word specific to you guys, so i guess that's something everyone had to adopt. but calling the country America is just wrong.

The Empire has greatly expanded in recent years, so here is a copy of a map of the British Empire in 1655.

In 1675, I found my first Australian settlement at Perth in southwestern Australia.

After a few turns of remobalizing troops, my forces finally recapture Lahore for the final time.

In 1675 Horatio Nelson (Great General) appears in London because of all the battles in India. Just felt like saying cuz Nelson is so cool!

Funds have been short, so I trade liberalism to France for 400 gold and their world map.

In 1690 I found Derby in Northwestern Australia. For the last fifty years I've been christianizing the empire and so far all of Britain, Canada, South America, Africa, and almost all of my Indian colonies are Christian. Also, I starting to transport half a dozen workers from India to Australia to begin to build up the country's infrastructure.

The Empire is almost done with its first stage of expansion. As you guys can see, the other Europeans have begun to expand outside of Europe and are beginning to compete with me for colonies. I don't like this situation very much. Things could get ugly soon....
