Yes, you can use the RoCX Random Map version, but it limits it to 8 Civs, so it's not as complex as the 31 Civ single player version.

Besides, I like the world map, anyway...

Right around the time that I'm getting close to the Industrial Era, my game closes and says that the "Arab Rider.ini" is missing. Can anyone please tell me what I'm supposed to do in order to fix that? Thanks... I'd like to get to the Industrial Age some time soon!

I WANT RGC3. Definitely. Have we got Wraiths as enemies? Still few turns and earth's reinforcments will arrive with the daedalus. And a new ZPM ready to power our shields!
Or maybe we are the wraiths and we must take atlantis before reinforcments and kill that damn sheperd with his damn nuclear weapon.
Or maybe I should stop.

First off, Hi I am new here

I discovered ths site by mistake and this is the first thing that caught my eye.
I like it very much but...
so far I never seen full mods like yours that are more than say 400 turns, I would like to see a map start more like moving maybe like 6 years at a time so your could get 1000 turns in a game, then the game would be better, i find I can't even make the end of the techtree with 100% science. Plus 1000 turns would make a space race,world domination victories easy. culture victories seem to be the only way to will most of the time, they get kinda of boring. I wnat to be able to rule the entire world 100% in a game, it gives more thrill, if you can call it thrill. Also I read through all your notes on your site and I don't get why to get rid of a worker, with your longer times for making inprovements that alone stops rushing. This isn't a problem as much as being incomplete, I don't know if you have heard this but the wonders being only for certain civ's doesn't work right. I do enjoy game play overall and the terrain in amazing, no more crystal blue oceans. There must have been a lot of though into this, I say keep working at it, and make it better.

here are my answers:

->400 turns were a choice made to reduce loading times and to have quicker games. Usually after 200-300 turns the game is already over, and becomes just a formality. In this case, many people just start again. A shorter game allows more frequent use of late game.

->Ruling 100% of the world is the opposite of this mod wants to do. With such a large map and many civs, you simply can't dominate the whole world.

->I can assure that the longer times don't stop rushing. And even the lack of the starting worker doesn't. In fact even palace guards were needed.

->The development of the mod is over. We're now focusing on the goal-based challenge

Well I'll back up Rhye in just about everything he just said in response to StarGateSG-1. The 400 turns really makes the game much better by letting you finish it in a reasonable amount of time. If you are lagging behind on the technology it either means that you are playing too low of a difficulty level or that you aren't trading with the AI enough. The ONLY effective way to play RoX is through constant tech trading.
I reach the end of the tech tree around 1900 on demi-god.

The combination of having not having a worker and the AI getting palace guards really does stop rushing by the player. Remember that the AI needs all of the advantages it can get to offeset the fact that you have a brain.

I dont know what you mean by the wonders not working right, how about you say which ones. I haven't encountered any problems and I think I've played a civ under every religion.

I've been on vacation and just got back. I am going for the West India Trading Company and I am on year 1440 AD. I don't think I will have a very good score.... But I really don't care because this mod is so fun and I am learning....

I only have one European city. It is pretty challenging.

I'll have my saves in by the 26th!!!
