RifE 1.20 Bug Thread

Yeah, but in forests I control, when I'm running FoL? For now I'm turtling and without an immediate target, ti seems to have lost interest in me, but it's dot to be death on wheels to the elves next door.

But it's not a bug, which is what I was wondering. Is it a normal barbarian, or did one of the AI players do something to trigger it?

Spawns for animals.

I could see blocking it from being invisible in FoL or Elven lands, but that would be complex... Needs python. ;)
 
I just tested this and it works fine. It kicked all the barbs out of my territory and they didn't try to get back in.


>_< How are you accessing the spell? None of my warriors, axemen, scouts, hell anything i have has the icon to click to cast the worldspell. :mad:
 
Just above the score, does it say something about casting being disabled for x turns, or mention Arcane Lacuna? If so, blame the Amurites.

No, its not available at all even at turn 1. thought it might have been moved elsewhere. Its just not showing up.

I did find a bug of my own. Lairs, dungeons, ruins, etc. can spawn on peaks making them indestructible to most units.

No, its not available at all even at turn 1. thought it might have been moved elsewhere. Its just not showing up.

Hmm... Best thing I can think of is to start a 'Play Now!' game, and after it loads exit and go back to the custom game screen and play.

I say this because there IS a 'No World Spells' gameoption, it's just hidden. And options change between FfH and RifE, or any other mods. Your SAVED options, however, do not... So you can end up with a hidden option turned on, by bumping the option you used last time down in the list. Your saved options are wiped by a 'Play Now!' game, so it should hopefully clear up your issue.

Woops. I need to block lairs from spawning on peaks.
 
1) "Steading" and "Hurler" abilities of a jotnar fort commander have the same description.
2) One of my jotnar citizens in the capital has 2 artisan promotions.

Forgot to reply to this one earlier, but there are 2 artisan promos. Second requires 'Renowned' giankin promo. Will make it the next level of the first, so you only see the one.
 
Playing a Jotnar game (Hephaestus), I didn't get a Great Bard at Drama. Grumbled about getting there late and put up some bard specialists. Only to notice that they were giving untyped GP points. The Lyre also was giving untyped GP points.

Well dang, I read that too late..just spent a few hours doing a complete removal and reinstall and its there. :rolleyes:

Not only that, but flying units are building their nests on peaks as well. It may be flavour wise ok, but balance wise it could be a problem.
 
Getting this error every other turn or so.

Could that python fix get a listing in the original post (or somewhere we can find it until the next patch)?

Also, I built a farm on a tile that previously had a fort and my fort commander is still sitting there. I'm not complaining about a free defender for my farm, but it seems like fort commanders should be dismissed with their fort.
