3 things that come to my mind after reading all the progress and contributions made here, i dont know if you realized so sorry if im repeating something.
- The turkish region Capadoccia appears very clearly in the poster, so we can assume that Turkey/Ottoman empire will be a new civ, also this is more logical if we thing that the new temple is the Artemis temple, with is in the turkish city of Efesus.
-We can appreciate that they have changed the design of the monument, wich in my opinion is quite good.
-They have also changed the design for some palaces, in the image appears the new one for russian civ (we knew is russia becuse in the religious district the have the Lavra)

Capadoccia is the home base of the Hittites, so it could be a link towards them. Also i don't understand why they didn't took the even more impressive natural wonder of Pamukkale.

Spoiler :

You wouldn‘t be able to stretch pamukkale over more than one tile, and even as a one tile wonder it would probably look way too large. But then again, it seems like we are getting a very nice and incredibly monumental arch ...

Moderator Action: This is a reminder that this is not a discussion thread, it is for adding new information to the first post. If you want to discus Rise and Fall do it HERE

Governors are like spies; not on the map.
Examples of bonuses from Dark Ages and Golden Ages
a female leader will have unique interaction with the Ages system
Governor titles (which buy and upgrade governors) are earned through the Civics tree
examples of rewards for winning emergencies
somewhat excessive optimism about the AI and bugginess

Couple of things from the Eurogamer video I haven't seen mentioned yet (of course, I could just have missed them):
  • Available Dedications depend on their era. For example, Renaissance dedications are about things like Great People or exploration. Each era has four Dedications to choose from, and some options are available in multiple eras.
  • Each Governor has five promotions to unlock.

I know you've done it before @bite, but can please somehow mark the new things in your thread as we progress, so we don't have to read everything every time when we visit your great post. Thanks in advance for that :)

Is it just me or have these tile improvements not been confirmed as being the work of some governor? I don't remember the name though.

They've been confirmed as Governor improvements at least in that interview EP linked, but I believe they were also confirmed somewhere earlier already.

I've added the clarification, unfortunately it is just incredibly fiddly and time consuming to add new things each time and remove them each time, if you want to keep track you can follow my posts in the thread

Added Turtles to the resources list

Turtles..?? :shifty: Do you have a link for that? Surprised we'll see that as a new resource.

Interesting. Can't it be something related to turtles, just like the truffles resource?

It was previously a resource in Civ IV, I think. I remember a random event about people getting bonus food eating turtle eggs.

Wasn't a resource, but could've been an event, I suppose. Haven't played enough Civ IV to know all the events.

Added Korea

At around 0:30 of the Korea first look we can see the Pike and Shot unlock at metal casting and the Kotoku-in at Divine right. Earlier, the Temple of Artemis was shown in the building screen. Also, the government district is called "Government plaza".

Thank-you, I have updated the Wonders section
