What about Mont St. Michel?
I don’t think you need to have founded a religion to build that one; I think I've seen people playing as Kongo build it.

As Kongo righfully should. That wonder is ridiculous in their hands. It's a free souped up relic for every TSq or Mbanza they own.

Besides, the MSM bonus is a free martyr promotion to all apostles you own and/or earn. You don't need to found a religion to get apostles, just a holy site with a temple (or in Kongo's case, an Mbanza or TSq) in a city with a majority religion.

Yeah, that would be an incredible help for most of the cards. Early in the game while I only have a handful of campuses, I can run the math without too much trouble. But once you have more than 4 or 5, I don't have the effort to count the total bonuses. There's always still a tradeoff deciding which cards to run, so that would be a simple addition to give you a quick scan of the impact of some of the cards.

I must agree. It would make the game much easier rather than spending time counting the number of campus buildings and counting the adjacencies for each campus.

Yes! The inability to easily know the precise impact of a policy card is probably the biggest annoyance in the game right now for me (when playing with CQUI and 8 ages of pace to deal with other annoyances).

The marvelous thing with such a feature is that it would benefit both micro-managers as well as casual 'story' players. But I do strongly suppose that it's not possible to give exact numbers as these calculations seem to be made between turns and would prolong the turn times a lot.

But that doesn't mean the problem shouldn't be addressed. for example, they could be using symbols instead of texts in the meantime or rearranging the cards in the User Interface would already help a lot, reducing clicks and removing a wall of text where I don't see whats new and what's good... But well ;)

So, last weekend they let a Dutch TV show mention that you could play Queen Wilhelmina in the upcoming expansion. There are also clues in the trailer and the Monday hints.

If you were trying to creatively market the new civs, what else might you do, perhaps as a one-time surprise? I'm trying to think of offline ideas targeted at specific audiences, especially people who might get interested in the game specifically because of a Civ or leader. But it couldn't be too obscure that it wouldn't be noticed.

Have a celebrity leak something. Perhaps something related to a movie coming up. Not sure who or what but that could create some buzz

Have someone ride across the steppes of Mongolia with a banner advertising Kublai Khan leading the Mongols in Civ6. :mischief:

Oh how do I love to imagine that Firaxis have done just that for the sake of teasing us and for us to never know.

I'm worried about America's civ ability. As you guys probably know the mechanics of government legacy bonuses have changed to where whatever government you have when you build the corresponding tier of building in the government district you get that governments main ability as a policy card. So because of that america's civ ability has changed to " a diplomacy slot in your government is converted to a wildcard slot" sounds okay right? I mean you get a wildcard slot to be able to use a government's legacy card just one problem.........

That's literally is just a worse version of Greece's civ ability, so as of now greece does legacy bonuses much better than america whose civ ability is supposed to be based around it. What do you guys think of this Guys? I think there has to be something else to america's ability because i just can't believe they missed this huge oversight.

Since Poland's ability is very similar (as mentioned by the devs), but includes something else as well (culture bomb from forts and encampments) I assume that America will get an additional bonus.

True but the founding fathers ability is supposed to be based around the legacy bonus so it's strange they mentioned nothing else.

Maybe they get an extra legacy card slot as well? Cheaper GD buildings? Stronger legacy card bonuses? For all three, it would have made sense not to mention it, since we would need more info.

Do we have any confirmation on what 'Heroic' ages are? They mentioned them offhand in the livestream, and I've seen them mentioned on these forums since (they may have also been in the original rise and fall summary from Firaxis).

Golden, dark and normal make sense. Heroic still seems unclear to me. Maybe rewarded for going straight from a dark age to a golden age?

while i can't recall the source of this, somewhere it was stated in an interview that a heroic age would get 3 dedications instead of just 1

Exactly. As @JacquesBquick wrote, you get three dedications. Ed Beach said in an interview, that playtesters deliberately go into a dark age to reach heroic ones. If they do it just for fun or if it is an efficient way of playing is unclear.

Hopefully there is more to that ability as well, and they just did not mention all of the new ability. I also hope maybe they could add something more to Greece's ability tying in with the new government district. And I would also like Persia's Satrap ability to work with the Governors.

IIRC, you can only get to a heroic age from a dark age, but they haven't given us details - e.g., in a normal age, there are two score thresholds for the next age, leading to dark, normal, or golden. When you're in a dark age, are there three thresholds, leading to dark, normal, golden, and heroic; or does heroic replace golden?

Heroic would replace Golden.

This means that it would be wise to be in a Dark Age during the Atomic Era and achieve a Heroic Age during the Information Era.

No leaks so far, looks like we are getting surprised, however I could be wrong. I'll be looking for either mongolia, Georgia, or a surprise Civ on tuesday.
