Boy this board really died off the last couple weeks. I haven't been around much lately. Just poking in. Does this mean people aren't playing Rise and Fall anymore? I wonder what the usage statistics for Steam are. I checked, and it looks like #18 on the list, but civ5 jumped ahead again. I'm a bit burned out on the game at the moment. Perhaps the next patch will renew interest.
I think the R&F novelty has taken a back seat, its back to the regulars playing etc. After 6 months of playing hard ive kind of moved towards playing some different games like Far Cry but find myself moving back at least a few times a week to play a game

Yeah I saw that on the usage states it was back down again. I think some of the buzz has worn off, and honestly, while I enjoyed Rise and Fall, it didn't fundamentally change the game (in the way say BNW did), so I don't think it assuaged my general Civ burnout that much. Personally though, I tend to play games much more in the winter anyways, so I'm not playing much in general.
Maybe someone remember that I asked about the AI not improving his copper tiles for some reason. I said I would make a capture next time it happend. There it is.
This is turn 171, third city of Greece, sorrounded by wonders and other improvements but somehow this copper remains unimproved. I will try to check every civ in this game to see if they have also copper. Also I don't remember to have traded copper never ever with AI.
I've never got this greeting before, so I don't know if it's new or not.
I had Robert the Bruce pop up and say something along the lines "Kudos to you" with the word "Greetings" in parenthesis with nothing else other than he was friendly to me.
Then I clicked goodbye.
I've never heard or seen anybody get this before.

Could this be his main agenda actually? I've seen him telling me how bad I am for attacking my neighbors, but I don't remember what he says when you don't...
Speaking of which, how does he define who are neighbors, and who are not?

His main agenda has its own voice lines, he (unsurprisingly perhaps) tells you how happy he is that you haven't been attacking your neighbours (the precise line is "It were wys, pes to kepen mid thy neighbours..."). As to whom he considers neighbours, it's not specified, but at a guess, it's probably something to do with how close their cities are to yours. It seems sensible from my anecdotal experience.
I never thought that was ever their intent. I think the lack of post xpac DLC was more of move of necessity with the dev team being so much more focused on fixing major issues from the vanilla release. With Civ VI being so much more 'complete' than previous, and with the leader swap mechanism already in place, I would be very surprised with 0 DLC between xpacs. (That being said I do expect them to be small and well spaced serving more as a reminder every 4 months or so to reenergize the fanbase.)
