Officially confirmed. Tomorrow 11 am PT or 8 pm CETActually, Anton said that they are rotating cast and when he said to Andrew Frederiksen that Ed might be doing the next one, Adrew said he was; at least I understood it that way.
Someone commented in another thread that Firaxis had posted on Reddit that we will have the live stream tomorrow at 11 a.m. PT and that they would be posting this officially soon. It sounds about right, Wednesday and at the same time as the other one.
I know other's have mentioned it on the First Look thread, but I'm so happy that I was right about the throat singing!I would! And while I'm out there I would try and and have audience with this guy:
I really hope Mongolia's theme is something along these lines; throat singing for the medieval theme or something! I love this!
EDIT: I think I might of found a "alternative" version which sounds a but more fuller with more then 2 "instruments" which could represent a later era (the last piece of music in this video - I don't seem to be able to link the video with the time to start from):

Who would replace Genghis Khan for Great General?
My guess is his best commander Subutai.
Would he provide the same benefits, do you think?
@stealth_nsk I can't reply to the "Next Sneak peak" thread, but 10,000-8,000 BC is about 7,000-5,000 years before the Eskimo-Aleuts and 4,000-2,000 years before the Na-Dene. Still, that lower range is much earlier than I was aware of, so thank you for updating my knowledge on that front.
The Mesoamericans used atlatls rather than bows and arrows.Just divided deeper into the sources and there's quite a lot of mess about how old is the first arrows in Alaska and how early first Aleuts appear there. Still, in most places those time periods more or less match. Even if first Alaskans who used bows weren't Aleuts themselves, they are likely to be in contact with them.
The Mesoamericans had bows--they just preferred atlatls, slings, and bolas. Probably because they preferred war captives for slaves and sacrifices. The Mesoamericans used atlatls rather than bows and arrows.
Thanks for the clarification as always. Bully for you!The Mesoamericans had bows--they just preferred atlatls, slings, and bolas. Probably because they preferred war captives for slaves and sacrifices.
50 days less 47 minutes to go, according to Ed Beach time!
Progress slowed somewhat, but it's understandable thanks to Genghis Khan.
