When @bite awakens from his tomb I want him to know that the Canadian Encyclopedia also contains a pretty good map of the traditional territory of the Cree.
I'm a little concerned about the lack of scenarios in this expansion. It seems we are getting none. Which could mean we get DLC in the future.
I'm trying to think of past Civ games expansions that did not have scenarios. But my memory isn't that great. Maybe Play the World for Civ3? It seems like all the expansions had scenarios, or maybe I'm just misremembering.
Why is Everest not a great choice? Isn't it the tallest Mountain in the world? I've only heard of Kailash out of the three other mountains you've mentioned. Do they have a more "iconic" shape than Everest?
They are easily amongst the most recognizable mountains once you've seen them. Everest on the other hand isn't. Sure, Everest is the largest in the world - but if you don't know how he looks... Despite that, the other three are the holiest mountains in the Himalaya (where almost every mountain, including Everest, is holy though).

Scenario's are always kept under wraps until the last possible moments in DLC's or Expansions. We undoubtedly will get some but you will learn about them the last probably because they are extra's and not fundamental to the add on (loads of people never even touch them).

Believe it or not, there's only one YouTube video for the completed Path to Nirvana scenario as of this post:
SpoilerOutcome of video :
It was a loss.
Therefore, there are no videos of winning the Path to Nirvana scenario on YouTube as of this post and the scenario is out for two months so far. How sad.
It must be the least popular official scenario for Civ VI, given the complete paucity of such videos.

I wonder why don't many people post playthroughs of the Path to Nirvana scenario on YouTube, unlike the other scenarios (and even for the other scenarios, during the same timespan, there were more than one such video for each scenario).
I'm reviewing the initial promo video & these are the scenes:
1. Girl writing over candlelight, lowland river delta, ancient era monument construction
2. Gladiator scene; girl wearing white & tiara, man in either silver Trojan or Roman legion gear [LYDIA, if NOT, SELUCID MORE THAN LIKELY] 3. Trebuchet, Korean Queen (KOREA CONFIRMED) 4. Mongolian archer/battle scene (MONGOLIA CONFIRMED)
5. Venetian plague doctor, scene eerily reminiscent of Enrico Dandolo [VENICE MORE THAN LIKELY]
6. Mariner's astrolabe, caravela redonda (or some single-rigged vessel) [PORTUGAL MORE THAN LIKELY]
7. Spanish Galleon sailing into New York Harbor [ISABELLA MORE THAN LIKELY] 8. Hiding from Gestapo in Holland (DUTCH CONFIRMED)
9. Breaking down the Berlin Wall [SOVIET CIV LIKELY] Not bold because they may have added a surprise civ unseen in the trailer
10. Speaking at World Congress [WILD CARD CIV]
This to me suggests the other leaders are under our noses.
Nothing in the video suggests America nor Africa. They're likely not included unless Wildcard.
**edited, changed BYZANTINE to SELUCID after MAURYA seems to be leaked. I'd still prefer LYDIA, because it's more appropriate with olives, Temple of Artemis, Gorga..
Cree is green on navy blue
And there is another Civ which is white(?) on light brown
The leader icons from right left to right seem to be:
Jadwiga, "2", Seondeok, "4", Cree Player
To me, the Cree Player looks female, but it's up for interpretation.
Unknown player 2 looks dark skinned with a red leader icon background and I don't think matches with any pre-R&F leaders or the three we have seen officially already.
Unknown player 4 may be Catherine de Medici but I can't entirely tell.
Either way, unless another pre-R&F Civ/Leader has had a colour change, there is defiantly a new colour pairing in this first look video, which makes me think that this will not be the next First Look video to be released. The white on light brown Civ will be released first if they are brand new and then the Cree. (Alternatively it could be Netherlands but I can't see Wilhelmina's icon, and these colours might be for a new Civ before everyone's colour change that was evident in the last livestream).
Also at the very top of the screen there looks to be some sort of natural wonder, possibly a lake which is providing +1 faith, +2 food and +2 culture across at least 2 tiles?
The leaders on the Cree screenshot seems like Jadwiga, Harold, Seondeok and Wilhelmina (and the last one is of course the Cree leader)
We also see white on orange troops (most likely the Netherlands since we've seen Wilhelmina's picture) and blue on black troops (latter one may be a scientific city-state). I don't see the brown on white city borders honestly. Nvm blue on black is blue on green and troops of the Cree.
I did split it into two scenes. The caravela redonda is a square rigged Portuguese ship which resembles that which was destroyed in the battle. It's highly indicative of the Lusiads & Portuguese culture as a whole. A mariner's astrolabe is a solid national symbol of Portugal. That scene so far as I see it is pure Portugal.
You may be right that the second boat is not a galleon, though it is much larger than the first one, & certainly from a different time period. If the scene is not indicative of a Civ leader, rather to show off the Statue of Liberty, it could be overlooked entirely. In which event it'd be interesting if the devs added a "refugee" mechanic for when your city flips and civil war happens, if boats of migrants will go to another Civ who'd take them in?
