His starting continent seems to have tea, salt, fur, and gypsum, so nothing new there.

Only the main screen. It has the "wheel" from the very first Rise&Fall teaser in the background now.

It seemed to me there were more maps but I am not sure... there was a "Europe" map. Honestly cannot say whether that one was there before.

There's definitely not a Europe map in the base game now (and it certainly needs one), so that sounds added if he's not using mods.
