Rise and Rule for Civ3:Conquests

Do you know, how to import the world map into the RaR-Mod with the Editor?

You can play beyond the 915 turns, but that won't count for the stats.

That wouldn't work without some tweaking, because the mods resources will need to be placed on the map (or randomly distributed, I guess).

There are a couple of maps around I think, although you'd probably have to be mad to play a mod this large on a fixed map :)

Once I get to Naval Aviation in the scientific research I get an error that says it can not find the P 38 lighting inf file? Does anyboyd have the file that file they could email to me and where I should put it?

Thanks

I keep getting a P38 lightning .INI file is missing and I have installed all the updates that are on the last page.

Does anybody know what to with this?

Please Help?

Roggstar at the german civ-Forum made a World-Map. RaR-Worldmap

He made some changes to the civs, the ship-, aircraft- and artillery-movement. If you wanna play the default rules, you must import the map out of that biq into a unmodified RaR-biq.

IS the game suposta let you take over one city then all that countries citys except for its capital get taken over?

Thanks

I have civilization 3 complete edition and i want to install this mod but dont know where to do so. Because it is the complete edition PTW and Conquests are in the same folder. i tried to install it in C:\Program Files\Atari\Civilization III Complete\Conquests\Scenarios which clearly is not the right folder as it didnt change anything. does anybody know the correct install folder for the comlete edition or is it even compatible. if it would help i can post a directory listing of the folders.
thanks in advance

sorry if this double posts. browser just freaked out. anyways that was the correct directory thanks. couple more questions: is there a way i can edit the .biq file for different victory conditions? and are the mod's units, buildings, etc usable in the editor if i want to create my own map? thanks

Hmm, this mod sure looks yummy!

I know I'm slow with downloading it NOW, but hey, not like I had much time before. :)

Let the download commence! (And a prayer for no problems with playing it)

Yes, you just make a new scenario, then you go to Scenario at the top, then you put in the folder source box the same one as the mod(this only works if you put both in the same folder with the same source folder).

I have downloaded and installed the latest patch for RAR (1.04 beta) successfully. I went to load the 1.04 extended .biq file. I checked the game limits of this before starting my game and it still says 540. The game description before you load the .biq file says 915 but the Game Limits say 540. Am I ok just changing the Game Limits to 915 turns? Has anyone else noticed this before? I want to play the longest game possible and just want to be sure.

Thanks for your time!

Hi, I was playing RAR earlier, and I got an error message saying it couldnt find the Ship of the Line unit. Does anyone know how to fix it?

So basically we can not use a world map with this MOD?

Well, let me help you.

Take one of the RARs out from the editor, download a TET world map here or use one of the pre made ones found in the Vanilla scenario folders (I prefer TET's)

Now in the editor, go to map menu (i think) and import a map, and there you go, add the resources, pre-set the civs, and save as new. :goodjob:
