I had absolutely no freeze or even delay when playing your Russia 1806 save file. Attached is a screenshot about Russia1807 in your game.

So I can only guess what will trigger the freezes in your game. I started RARR by the Flintlock mod and this mod fixes the houseboat bug (last settler of an otherwise eliminated civ on a boat), that could start such freezes. Another thought could be, that your pc sometimes has not enough power.

My game - steam version.
After Fintlock install, labels.txt - broken (problem in game text), i try original then try steam mod.txt Not work
I tray reinstall game now, maybe I doing before something in directory.

Unfortunately steam made a big mistake with the labels textfile, playing havoc with the texts of nearly all existing C3C mods and scenarios.

Fortunately RARR has a patch for it in its text folder. Rename the labels.txt file to labels-orig (or something like that) and rename the file labels-Steam CivComplete Patch to labels.

Hello. Absolutely amazing expansion with tons of units and flavor. I do have one question. This mod requires the files from CCM2.5. Does this mean the game must be played according to CCM's altered rules (no manual settler or worker building etc) or are there certain files i should revert to normal or leave unchanged, whilst still having the necessary units?

Edit: it appears I must have messed up the original install. The game works exactly as I was trying to ask now and allows me to build settlers and workers.

Once again great mod and appreciate your effort in keeping it alive after all these years. Civ 3 is still my favorite of the titles.

The installation with the expansion mod CCM 2.5 (in nearer future CCM 2.6) allows to shrink the download size of RARR from over one GB to about only 13 MB, so it can be hosted at CFC without any problems.

Btw.: May be CCM 2.5 is a much better mod than you are expecting it. There is a reason, why since many years most of the succession games at CFC are played with the CCM mod.

Delete, or rename, this file's in folder *\Conquests\Art\Movies and *\Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete\Art\Movies

If you mean the title image, that is also shown in page 1 of this thread, the answer is - when you are good enough in modding - yes.
In the next version of RARR, started by the Flintlock mod, the image will show the normal starting screen of Civ 3 Complete.

Edit: The scenario title screen is not in the movies folder.
 
Hello again.
Another bug that causes the game to crash on the next turn.

AI war Babylon vs Carthaginians, last city Persepolis. In this city, where empty Army stays, when Babylon attack city have used Storm Tropper - game crash. He attacks an empty army.
If we kill Storm Troper - game will continue

I used a spy and tracked down where the problem is.

taty095, unfortunately I cannot open your save file. If you add a save file, what mostly is a very good idea, please don´t remove the original naming of that save file so it can be loaded on other pcs without problems, too.

Normally when the last city of a civ is captured by another civ and there is a settler of that otherwise destroyed civ on a boat, the game freezes (not crashes) in the interturn. This can also happen in an AI vs. AI combat. This is no bug of RARR, but a general bug of C3C (called the houseboat bug). That bug is fixed by the Flintlock mod.

If you have installed the Flintlock mod, start the game with that modified exe, load the save file before the crash/freeze happened and see if the game now can continue.

I use Flintlock mod, and start with modified .exe. I Greate new save file

taty095, unfortunately I cannot open the new save file, too. I can see with the Quintillus editor, that you are playing with the extended version, but when I try to load your 1960 save file, it doesn´t recognize the entries in the pediaicons file of the RARR folder.

When I do a save file of the RARR extended biq myself, I can load that save file without any problems.

May be this is connected to all the changes I am doing at my pc for the next version of CCM and RARR. Especially the changes for CCM are really huge. Fact is, that here I cannot help more at present. May be some other civers can open that save file and can give more input about the problem.

As your game is started with the Flintlock mod, the problem should not be triggered by the houseboat bug.
 
Hello. I am new to the mod but I played Double Your Pleasure extensively back when. Are you aware that your install instructions don't work? I have installed (as you said) to the Civ 3 Complete main folder assets folders, but I believe they should be in either PTW or Conquests assets folder as per the error I am getting
"Load Error
File Not Found: advisors\all"
or something like that

As the RARR thread now is on page 68 with 1358 posts, you can be sure, that the install instructions are working. It seems you haven´t done step one of the installation, the installation of the CCM 2.50 expansion mod as described. RARR needs the files of CCM 2.50 as this allowed to shrink down the size of RARR from over 1 GB to only about 13 MB. The CCM 2.50 files must be installed in the C3C mainfolder and than the RARR files in the C3C scenarios folder.
 
Ok. I am having 3 bugs in my game:
-sacrificing workers gives only 2 culure instead of 10
-said workers cannot automate without altering (shift A)
-escorting shipments to capital is not providing any gold
-Everytime I start my turn, gold-science-lux is set to 5-5-0 evne though I keep running out of money and reducing science allocation
I made some simple changes to game rules but I doubt anything that affects this?
 
swagalina, all topics listed by you are no bugs of RARR.

For transforming supply shipments into gold, the settings for this function must be done before starting a game. Per example, if you don´t have victory point scoring activated before starting a game, the supply shipments are not working.

For transforming all commerce to gold, the sliders for science and luxury must be set to zero. Unfortunately each new turn the sliders are jumping back from zero and must be readjusted, but this is no special problem of RARR.

Workers I never set on automate option and I never sacrifice them, as I always have a better purpose for them.

In general, the value in culture for sacrificing a worker (or another unit) is the same as the cost of that unit. So a worker with a production cost of 10 should have an equivalent of 10 culture when sacrificed. Per example when you have reduced the cost for a worker to 2, you should gain 2 culture when that unit is sacrificed.
