Rise From Medieval Kingdoms III, Thread Two

Actually, Chox, did you just transfer my previous trade of the main empire resource to the colony resource?

Um... Yes... so you don't have any resources to trade...

For those curious, these are the nations with open resources, and how many they have (Note: some may have already agreed to trade):

Crimea: 1 Resource
Argos: 2 Resources
Arabia: 1 Resource
Maya: 2 Resources
Russia: 1 Resource (Which, considering they already have 16 trade routes, is amazing)
England: 3 Resources
HGE: 1 Resource, soon to be 0
Gibraltar: 2 Resources
Louisiana: 2 Resources
Reykjavik: 3 Resources
Ottoman Empire: 3 Resources
Aztecs: 1 Resource

Edit: Double Post!!!

What's wrong with 17 trade routes? I still don't have the highest GPT. Argos holds that with over 200.

You're GPTs are gigantic compared to mine, I'll have it just over 100 next turn(that's what you get when you think that economic plans are an abuse of game mechanics...).

All of the plans have expired though, right? So as long as all of that economic plan gold as been subtracted from income, everything is fine then.

24 HOUR WARNING: Send me orders within 24 hours or be skipped.

Time is up. HGE, Fatamids, Arabia, you are all skipped. Arabia is now NPC'ed.

Been busy screwing around with the maps and making a new one, update shall come today.

1530-1545 Anno Domini

"Sir... Sir..."

The Caliph had been sleeping prior to this, and was awoken for two reasons: Number one, it was time to write something, and number two, he was drooling on the new map he was working on.

"Are you done with the map now?"

"Yes, I am. This place is pretty packed, what again did the Russians call it? Enduchana?"

"I believe it was Indochina, sir."

The Russians had sent people east to explore, and had mapped out a great deal of an area known only as "East Asia". It contained plenty of civilized nations, and some barbaric Mongols, Turks, and Manchurians. But, he must admit, he was quite fond of some of them. The Chinese made great tea, The Thai had funny city names, and the Japanese had funny proverbs. Or at least, the translations sounded funny.

(Yep, I've made a map of East Asia, which contains- count them- 10 NPC nations. Someone please take over them. :) Yeah, I know, the rivers suck, Tibet's too big, and there's some other problems, but oh well. Screw historical accuracy. :p)

(And BTW, you're going to have to actually fight these guys if you want to colonize this place :p)

But, anyway, back to the west.

The Germans are toast. Literally, Allah turned some Germans into toast. But on a more serious matter, they have almost been destroyed. Argos, Russia, and England have taken huge amounts of their land due to their lack of activity. Russia has done nothing but consolidate, while England took a resource near Frankfurt. Argos did the most, taking the cities of Vienna and Budapest, although strangely ignoring Munich. They also went after the aforementioned Frankfurt resource, but after seeing England already there, they got confused and decided to go away.

(Frozen, BL, you both tried to grab this resource- I gave it to BL because he sent orders a lot sooner, and because he was a lot closer to it)

The HGE Government currently operates in Munich, which has strangely not yet been taken.

The Fatamids were also strangely inactive, allowing the Ottomans to march into and burn Geldopolous.

Echajinia's "occupied" land in Eastern Europe has switched occupations- well, part of it. Per an agreement between Argos, Echajinia, and Crimea, the majority of this land, as well as 5 of its cities, has been turned over to Argotian control.

Speaking of Echajinia, they have just tried something out: revolution. The king has been overthrown, and the heads of both he and plenty of his family and top officials have been removed. The country then tried to set up a democracy, but, not everyone is pleased with these beheadings. Violence is erupting, and it could even be called a war by now.

(Sorry, myth, looks like you've got a French Russian Chinese Echajinian Revolution to deal with. But, seriously, this does always happen in history: you kill a leader, you get some unrest. At least in a monarchy. :))

Speaking of revolution, the Arabs have overthrown King Charles Li due to his inactivity.

In the Americas, something unexpected has happened. The Native "Barbarians" have gotten tremendously stronger. This proved disastrous, or at least very annoying, for the military plans of Gibraltar, Maya, and Louisiana. Gibraltar and Louisiana both attempted to attack barbarian islands- Gibraltar in the Bahamas, and Louisiana in Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, and Leeward Island. All of these invasions were repelled with ease, and Louisiana was even forced off of Hispaniola entirely.

As for the Maya, they sent forces to defend Guantanamo from the Taino, but here the results were less unfortunate. The Mayan tactics managed to hold off the Taino- for the most part. They've encroached a little more into Gibraltar's colony.

(Okay guys, let me explain. Leeky and I were in PM "conversation" about something related to the NA's, and we both thought 23 was little weak for them. So, we decided to raise it to 100 army. Then we came to the question of whether to make that change immediately, and screw you three over, or after the update, and screw the barbarians over. He never answered, so I assume it was my choice, and, well, what can I say, screwing you three over is fun. :)

But, to make up for it, your casualties are 0, and I gave you all some more land- Maya in Cuba, Gibraltar and Louisiana in Florida.)

But, despite the barbarians' strengthening, the Aztecs managed to finish off the Tlaxcala.

In other news, Maroc has colonized the new World, although their colony currently lacks a name.

The resource in the middle of Florida has mysteriously changed. The reason for the change is unknown, but it seems to be a different color. Allah knows why.

(I changed the color, it's too close to D'arts color and he's almost certainly going to claim it next turn)

The world seemed to have calmed down again, but, Asia may end up being un-calm. If that's even a word.

The Caliph was then given a scroll of a major technological thing, and decided to read it.

Muskets: Aim, Press, Kill. Amazing weapon. These will really change warfare. Knowing this technology will provide +10% to your army, whether they be defending or attacking. (Yeah, I know, a little overdue, but, as I already said, screw historical accuracy.)

I'm extremely mad at my father.

It is my cousin's 21st birthday today. So, her parents (my aunt and uncle) decided to take the family (cousins from Vermont and Montreal, their family, my grandparents, and my family) out to lunch at a fancy restaurant. There were scallops wrapped in bacon as an appetizer. I was in amazement at the idea of wonderful sea scallops wrapped in bacon. As dinner conversation, I started the conversation of what we were getting as an appetizer. I then stated mine, and my uncle immediately asked me if he could have one. I denied his request because I am extremely territorial about food, especially seafood. I rarely have it at my house. It's either sausage (only mixed in pasta sauce), hamburger, or chicken (many nights).

Then, FF to getting the appetizers. My uncle re-iterates his request of a scallop, and I re-iterate that I will not give any scallops to anyone. Then, my father goes to my aunt.

This is the part that has made me so mad I'm still pissed 12 hours since it came. My aunt takes my scallop without asking and gives it to her husband. Hell did not break loose. I then was very, very unhappy with my aunt and called her on it.

Dinner went normally. Then, my mother then told me while my father was sleeping that my dad told my aunt to steal my food. I was in disbelief at this backstabbing. I then called him on it. His reason was that "everyone shares their appetizers". My reason is that stealing is wrong. Any document of laws references that stealing is morally wrong and illegal, be it the Ten Commandments or your local handbook of laws.

1. Is this another immature rant?
2. Who is right in the debate?

Immature rant, and it's a f***ing little thing, nothing to get mad about.

If you post that in Random Rants, a great flame war will begin, that will engulf the thread.

How much is muskets?

EDIT: Also, what does the revolution do? Can't do anything this turn?

I take it you haven't gotten around to the stats yet. And what is the status of my expedition?

@mythmonster: Yep, and your stability mysteriously decreases by 5.

@D'art: What, you don't want Louisiana?

And people, feel free to claim Asian nations, but wait for me to create their stats first!

@BL: Yeah, the stats haven't been updated. As for your expedition, epic phail.
