Rise of Erebus not Launching properly

I used the launcher and tried to go to advanced->load a mod-> rise of erebus but the mod still wont start up. it makes the loading circle on the mouse and when i open task manager it says that civ4beyondthesword is running but then it disappears and the mod doesnt load. all the default mods work though

I never use the load a mod option.

Try using Rise From Erebus Launcher
...\Civilisation 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Rise from Erebus\RiFELauncher.exe

rise of erebus sometimes takes really long time to load up, like, really really long time, so maybe it just needs a bit more time (try giving it like 5 minutes, and see if it runs or not)
