3rd. Because I was getting Pink buttons I took the DDS files and put them in the ART folder. But I wasn't sure where they should go so I put them in the ART folder 1st level.

4th. Because RoM1.03 was before WoC Modules the Module would need activated thru the RoM config file. So I changed several lines in the Config file:

These 3 lines got changed in the .ini.

So you can't get RoM1.03 to load with the Modules folder added? I had trouble loading it one time. The next time I held the Shift key down during the Mods loading to clear the cache.

I have 5 test games running. Jungle camp shows up on the Main map after you build it. But the Pink square in the city screen's building rows and Research screen is still there. I should probably post a screen shot of it.

Tannery (icon/button)shows up in both the city screen and the drop down build que. But has the line TEXT_KEY_BUILDING_TANNERY next to it. And also in the Research screen.

Edit: Do you think JungeCamp needs a .nif or .kfm file? Only Butcher has the .nif, Tannery doesn't and it shows up fine.
Or could it be the RoM_Building_Atlas file needs to be "fixed".

This is because the button tag in one of the XML files does not point to the same place as the others.

No. I use GIMP2 with its dds extension to open dds files. I have not edited such a file for a long time but I have used it to convert jpeg to dds for buttons.

RL is a problem at the moment, I may have to head west at any moment, all depends on Mum's operation. Not normally life threatening operation thankfully.

Sorry for my absence. Thanks for your efforts DH. I had to travel to Florida from Illinois and back this last week. Long drive, 3509 miles round trip. Out of 10 States that I drove thru Florida Drivers are the worst by far. :eek:

Since 1.03 is pre WoC I presumed that the module for Jungle Camp would need to be redone the "old" way. But since I have next to no knowledge about XML it's all trial and almost all error. And I haven't been able to get Vincentz attention yet either.

Looks like this won't get finished as RoM is winding down and CIV V is just a few days away.

I'll miss a lot of you and some I won't even bother trying to remember.

As Don Meridith used to sing when the Game was in hand, "Turn out the lights, the parties over..."

It's been a Fun 3+ years here.

Thanks Afforess. I'll see if I can get it Uploaded but I may have to find a "service" to do it.

As for CIV V, not right now. If I can buy a stand alone CD/DVD version where I have the disk(s) in my hand and don't have to have an ISP acct then I'll buy it. Until then, no I won't buy it.

(It also comes with a BTS 3.19 Debug DLL, so that you can see error messages if you decide to keep modding. The DLL needs to be renamed to "CvGameCoreDLL" for it to work. It's disabled by default)

What version 7z did you use please? The one from sourceforge?

EDIT: I d/l the 7z beta from sourceforge and got it opened. Yeah! Now off to play! :lol

3 small issues so far. And 2 are the same thing I couldn't figure out.

JC is a Pink button on the worker build bar, JC is a pink button on the Tech screen under Stone Tools and the Text_Key one is associated with Stone Tools.

I have not turned on the CvGameCoredll for Debuggging yet. I was too eXcited about getting it and playing. ;)

I hope the file I sent you was the original RoM1.03 and not the WiP one that had my screw ups in it! :blush:

the thing, if I recall correctly, there are two artdefines for the junglecamp. 1 for building and one for improvement.
One is quite obvious > CIV4ArtDefines_Improvement.xml
<Button>Modules/Builds/JungleCamp/junglecamp.dds</Button>
while the other is in > CIV4BuildInfos.xml
<Button>modules/builds/junglecamp/junglecamp.dds</Button>

If one of them is wrong the JC will still work but show pink in some places.

<Button>modules/builds/junglecamp/junglecamp.dds</Button>

Could not find this at all. And it's a big file. Spent the last 2 hours looking. My eyes hurt.
