Rise of the Machines

Well, I wasn't going to play - just get the save and look at the situation. :) But I ended up playing any way. So since I wasn't going to, no detailed report. Basically, I first whip-rushed the Globe in Delhi, then turned culture up to 50% to offset unhappiness, and turned science down to zero. Then, I killed everything in sight. :hammer:

In the year of 1686AD, the last enemy city fell, and the machines were free to rule the world. :borg:

Here are some timeline snapshots, mainly at the points where we declared wars, and destroyed nations.

This here is the power graph:

And, of course, we got the highest possible rank (and, incidentally, the highest weighed score I have in my HoF):

Attached is the save just before the win. Hit end turn, and enjoy. :)

Good game, everyone.

Hello, this is John Griff, I don't know if anyone is listening to this but a small band of humans have escaped the machines. We are sailing for parts unknown. I will report again soon - keep you radios tuned to this station for any update on the future of humanity in RotM02 - Glorious Space Race

Great game guys. Never knew machines were thus powerful. But that's it! Those who underestimated you have been destroyed!

Keep it up in RotM2!

For myself I never realzed just how powerful siege weapons could be until this game. I've always used them, but never like this. I was almost hoping that we would have gotten to Artys... That would have been interesting, methinks. I'll be rolling the start of RotM02 in the next day or two so keep and eye out for it.

Hi all, I would like to congratulate you all on a fine game, to bad my Civ broke down!
