Risk

Anyone interested in starting a Risk game/thread? I did a search on these forums, and in the NES section there was a Risk game that went on in 2005. The Moderator had a copy of Risk II for the PC to keep track of moves and resolve conflicts. And I have a copy of Risk II

So, I hope this is the right place to post a thread like this. I'd be willing to moderate with my Risk II game, or if anyone has any good alternatives I am all ears.

Haha, I totally forgot I posted this thread. I recently bought Civ Complete and got to play BTS material for the first time, so excuse me if I forgot about Risk Anyways, I still plan on doing this, at some point, but I wouldn't be holding my breath. Sorry for getting your hopes up, but since I know that there is interest I will just start a signup thread whenever I get around to it.

Haha, I remember this thread. Well not this one, but the last one. Was played in 2007 or 2008.
Niklas and SymphonyD were in it and it was awesome.

Do you remember the name of the thread form 2007/2008? I'm trying to get some idea of what to expect and the do's/don't's.

i'd play... i did have risk 2 on my computer a while ago. would we be playing simultaneous turns?

Simultaneus turns seems to be the way to go. I think I might shamelessly steal some of the setup material from flyingchicken's RiskNES VI.

This will be my first time running a game of any kind, ever, but expect a sign-up and/or game thread for it in the next couple of days (my classes are over for the week on Thursdays).
