RiskNES III - Apex In Circle

I was most complaining about the attack on Central America that failed so utterly, which will have major consequences no doubt. 6 attackers vs 8 defenders is positive odds on attacker victory, and he had 5 units surviving!

lurker's comment: I approve of their being more Black on the map! Im glad that my psychic space hamster operatives are doing good jobs in disrupting the other empires.

Thanks, I'm sure I'll need it. But so will you, so I'll graciously return the sentiments. ;)

Karma, in your sense, is essentially "what goes around comes around." I have not done anything wrong - infact, it is White who violated our truce - and he will be receiving his Karma shortly. Therefore, that is a moot point.

Karma, in its actual sense, simply deals with how ones actions have outcomes, and how all is interconnected and effects coming actions. Therefore, in that sense, my successfully warding off of White's attempt to attack me, and your attempt to deny me reinforcements has had the effect of increasing my reinforcements and strengthening me. In this sense, Karma has effected me quite nicely. ;)

Pah, what is karma to the White Alliance of Angels? We are karma. :p
But yeah, I guess I did break the truce, although technically I never agreed to keep it up. I just asked you if it was still on, knowing you had the advantage on me. The next few turns will certainly be interesting. ;)

And to the Golden Horde: You made your choice - now face the consequences. That's karma for you. :hammer:

And it shall once again shift to my side.

Risk is a game of tactics and skill. It is not a game in which magical shifts occur in the balance of power. Sure, bad rolls can contribute, but what causes players to fail (as can be seen from the last NES of this sort) are stupid mistakes.

I don't fault you for it. And Indeed, I kind of expected it to happen (whether through your actions or mine, as it would eventually happen regardless). No one will ever call me a trustworthy NESer, and those who live in glass houses cannot throw stones. ;)

Nevertheless, much can happen in the next few turns. So send your orders so this update can come quickly.

I made no stupid mistakes. My moves were well-thought out, I just had universally bad rolls.

But really now, there's no point in this discussion. I will see you on the battlefield!
