I am planning to download the next segment after 5PM today. Can someone point me to the current save and perhaps post a listing of the changes (they help and save me quite a bit of time).

As if the terrible loss at Ghuzz and the subsequent rising of the sea weren't enough, sudden Zara found his lands swarming with hideous demons. Emerging from cracks and crevaces throughout the land and squatting upon the farms and roads, they scare the townsfolk with their bizarre clothing and heathen tongue.
They quickly proved to be pretty frail and useless demons though, and disintrigrate at the slightest provokation. In fact, they seem more concerned with running to the hills away from cities than wreaking any sort of havoc, and so prove to merely be a distraction from dealing with the issues at hand. But look at them, they're disgusting!

As I said they won't actually do anything, just run to the hills waiting for mad to slaughter them. Not everything has to be purposeful!

The god of rain was pissed with humanity. They're always complaining about his work... So he decides to punish them. First, the paradise he created sinks back into the sea, along with the four cities on it (2 dutch, 1 portuguese and a barbarian). Then, he didn't let rain fall anywhere in the world for a few years. The planet completly deforested, and much valuable land turned into barren desserts and dry plains.

Paranoia! Part VII
At this point Zara simply laughs at the gods. He mocks then, and proceeds to ignore their work. "We shall presevere here, and overcome what they have to throw at us"
Truely these are not the worst changes we faced, the gods ar eno match for teh valient Ethiopian people!
We start off by evaluating the situation
First, our new lands have been submerged giving us a series of island cities
While the gods think this is clever (and drowning our majestic Jumbos) it now provides us with ALOT of oversea trade routes, while the extra costs are minimized due to the Ethiopian Organized trait!.
But there is more!!!!
The gods have given the Guez city back to the barbarians, along with massive amounts of mounted units looking greedily at the ripe northern Ethiopian lands. However, the ice left by the gods has isolated that Barbarian horde from us, so Zara simply "Let's them be". They are creatures of the gods and useless, we prefer contact with our fellow humans!
Zara also found many useless Great People all trying to give him advice! Great Scientists offering ideas on what to research, Singing Great Artists, Blood thirsty Generals, and Engineers looking to build ever larger useless buildings. The Ethiopian Orome were unleashed on them, slaughtering them all! It was grand and glorious, and better yet no other leader cared one bit!
But enough of the gods who are full of themselves. Zara begins to concentrate on more important things, diplomacy and relations with the humans in this world.
The techpath went: Corporation/Democracy/Scientific Method (partly)/Physics (partly)/start Electricity. Yes a very short segment, as an idea forms in Zara's mind! A way to spurn the intervention of the gods, and rely on old-fashioned human relations for victory!
After Democracy Zara is surprized to find.
Yes, his fellow human leaders have not yet found the Wisdom of the democratic state. THAT must be remedied!
we start by first getting SM from Ramesses who is at the bottom of the tech food chain.
This unlocks several techs!
we then start to unload Democracy for
Leaving us at
Which starts a cascade........
Oh yes, we found another vassal
And finally.
Leaving us at
Yes, we stirred the pot with Joao attacking Napolean who broke away from Joao earlier in the segment!
So at the cost of democracy, we got

Steam Power
Divine Right
Rifling
Physics
Steel

Joao war with Napolean
All at the simple cost of the tech Democracy! That my RPC friends is how to get tech parity at emperor level!
The most problematic leader in relations is Willem who does NOT have rifling at the moment!
As noone has electricity we decided to proceed down that road and potentially to radio and mass media. The Christo redentor city will pop a GE before we finish Mass Media, so with our steller popularity perhaps I can slip in a simple UN win!
But before that we got a request from Joao

We have uranium and Coal, but no oil! This is NOT a concern because Zara has yet to produce a single Great Person yet! That's right, not only does Zara NOT need the gods, he does not need Great People although that lone GE may certainly come in handy!
If the UN idea collapses (or the gods decide to be a problem!) we can still should for the internet and potentially space!
