The ones for the PC are already out, but in Chinese, Korean and Japanese...
I can't recall; you'll have to read it up yourself. Only things I remember vaguely are only rulers now, and you can port your saved characters from other KOEI games, like Dynasty Warriors 4 etc...
XIII Duke Togo and I have played this game and overall I really like it. But here is my biggest complaint: They never listen to players and what they have to say. The battles have changed so much over the last few games, some better and some not. VIII was HORRIBLE, and IX is better, but I wish they would have changed it a little more.
Also, NO ALLIANCES...what is up with that???? I just dont get it.
Picked up the game the day it hit the stores and love it. Haven't been able to spend too much time with it but I feel a sense of nostalgia wrt to RTKI. Haven't fought a battle yet so can't comment there.
Out of all the RTK games I've played I never really got into RTKVI but I like all the other games. Definately biased here...
The one thing that I read in the Article that just made me want to scream **** *** was the fack that you start out as a ruler and a ruler only.
Not having being ruler was the one thing I liked about XIII and XII. That Way I could work my way up and blame the problems I have Currently on poor desisions of the last leader.
It made me have to dig my country out of a hole when I finally became leader because we all know the computer sucks at being leader.
The only thing I hated about XIII was those ANTI-_________ alliances. no better way to make my country the undisputed leader in China than repel seven attacks a turn and gain about ten generals every three month. I just hated it when some Idiot leader dooms there country by sending in an attack of one general and expect the coiltion to do all the work. but I just kill there ONE general before anyone from there alliance even gets there and stop the attack completly. and every country around me does that every turn that they can.
I forgot about those 2 points, but you are absolutely correct. Not being able to be a general OR the anti coalitions drove me nuts too. In 9, the anti groups are not that bad.
Hmm... I'm not that big of a Koei fan myself, I do enjoy the DW series though...
As for the ROT3K series, not really sure what to say, though it IS an absolutely marvellous PS2 strategy game series, if you're into strategy on the consoles, I, myself, am not a very big fan of that, I prefer my PC for strategy games.
