Rome 2 Delay?

Last I heard, Rome 2 was set for an October release, and Steam gave its release date as 2013.

I've noticed that this release date is now gone from Steam - does anyone know if the release has been pushed back, or if Creative Assembly/Sega is no longer committing to a 2013 release date?

No news of it on either TWC or totalwar.com. It would be a bit early to announce a delay, it has still six months. Probably just a steam issue

I read the wiki about the new gameplay and tribes. It's like they learned nothing from Europa Barbarorum. This game is going to be as comically racist and ahistorical as the last RTW.

I'm thinking EBII will be better than anything CA can come up with.

Although I don't agree that they haven't learned anything from EB. Here's a discussion on RTW2's realism.
