Ronald Wilson Reagan 3D Animated Leaderhead

A very nice leaderhead, but I must agree - the industrial age one is just odd-looking. And he does have other expressions, correct? :p

Looks good from the preview, when will the other eras be completed?

Off topic: On the game Blast Doors (a game where nuclear weapons become available to everyone) when a computer launches a nuke, it would say "Mr. Reagan, Stop!"

Thats not entirely true. Ever hear of the Russian River?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Ross

Parts of CA were once under Russian control-including the scene shown in that picture.

Should be easy enough to lighten up the Middle age background. Will get right on that.

re: his clothing-John Fremont (CA's first Senator) dressed like that for Presidential campaign posters. Had a picture in a textbook somewhere...

Perhaps he means that he would classify Russia's occupation of California under the Middle Ages era?

I really think of 19th Century as the Ind era. But then I thought Middle Ages ended in 16th century. That leaves out a few hundred years.

3 eras down, just got to render the middle ages & I'm done

Alright, finally done. New era specific advisor PCX is included in the new PCX zip in post #2.

Might be able to do a cut & paste job on the Ind era. But I think I'd rather just move on to another project.

*Singing* Ohh... put the Flag up to the top! Its been over a month! He was a lousy actor and a worse President! Screwed up our country really really bad! HEY! Screwed up our country, Really Really Bad! But atleast the leader head is really Goooo-ooooooooo-ooooooood!

And If you try to flame me, just remember this: Ronald was insistant on this 'Star Wars' project. He threw Billions at and and All it every Developed was a stupid animation of a blue satelite turning and firing a green line at a red missile. Oh, and I'm probably not going to check this post again so I won't read what ever ;crafty' retort you have to say. (which will be: 'but he Ended the Cold War!' Which he didn't.)

Yeah, but the Soviet Union remembered Kennedy's promisde to land a man on the moon at the end of the 60's... which we did. When President Reagan made the SDI proposal, it scared the Soviets as if we did it (which they believed was likely, as people said the moon landing was impossible in the 60's) thier missle arsenal would become obsolete, thus forcing them to spend countless money which they could not afford thus lending to the collapse of the Soviet Union. We could afford the project, and the military improvements, and still have money for Domestic improvements. He was a great President, although you may be right about being a poor actor (I haven't seen his works), he was still a great President. I'd rank him in the top three (alongside Washington and Lincoln). I don't see how he ruined the country... at least not like President Buchannon did.

Just remember that when your biggest opposing CIV builds the SDI after you build a ton of nukes. ;-)

I think a little more pink would be nice, but still good job! I like the background in the ancient age especially! The one that reminds me of Nimoy most is the Middle Ages one, in particular it reminds me of "Goatee Spock" from Mirror Mirror.

The Soviets were also in preparations for a moon landing  I doubt that would scare them rather than the abm programe (which doesn't even work properly nowadays) and that merely in an economical sense.

Reagan's utterly expensive military (intended-to-be short time) spending to bolster US economy via government orders to the heavy and defence industry, as well as his extensive tax cuts, paired with high barriers to foreign trade and investment ruined the US economy in the long term, especially after the fall of the 'Communist block' (2 and a half legislative periods after which Reagan made his Star Wars attempt- for it WASN'T affordable or at all workable) made the artificial government induced defence obsolete- make Reaganomics responsible for the downfall of the US industry under George Bush (despite of his aim to save the US economy by a revival of his predecessors ways).

:gripe: :aargh: :wallbash:

So much for keeping politics out...

:thumbdown Thank you, Goldflash, for opening this door! :spank:

I leave this thread to it's own spiraling downfall. :suicide:

P.S. I like smilies.

Bah! William Henry Harrison is the BEST U.S President! Dying of pneumonia within a month of being elected is exactly the kind of example that other presidents should try living up to :D

"Mr. President, what goals will you try to accomplished during your term?"
"My life's goal is to die."

The key is the letter in front of the number:
a=ancient b=medieval c=industrial d=modern
If there is no letter than it's the default age (the one shown in civilopaedia).
