Ok, I post over whip set ( seriously, so much

faces around ... ) ,so this was rather uninteresting. I basically hired specs everywhere, made some major MM changes ( that will need to be undone soon ) , fended out some barbies ... boring stuff.
In fact the first interesting things happening were in the turn before I ended the set:
Konya site was chosen mainly to cut out the north without actually settling it

We were really low in finances and , because of that, our empire would be better getting
any building than spittting settlers , atleast for the time being ( now that we have alpha things are diferent ). Btw, that is a very late date for oracle, right? I maintain my bet there aren't any Ind civs around.
And I decided to end the set with Alpha, but not only with Alpha:
I think that we should revolt ASAP. Izzy is a kitty cat when we run the same religion as her, so it would be a big insurance.
Some other stuff to discuss:
First, Izzy is not that advanced, but that is expected with a jungle start....
The second is the Mids. I originally started it to both get failure gold and to keep the hands of the cap pop busy with something besides building units to burden our budget ... but given how late the wonders are falling, I wonder if it would be a good idea to actually try to finish it. We are in a land with not much of pre-calendar

so either HR or Rep would be useful ... not mentioning that, with the usage of specs we are doing now, REP would be a huge help

. I think it is worth a try... do you?
Anyway , next player(s) ( btw, it is Thy, with nocho on deck ) has a lot to do in the next turns. I strongly suggest to put both 2-3 settlers out to cut out Izzy way north if we can ( not sure of how much land she has to the south, but we must assume , given that she is not pressuring up north as much as that, that she has some space south ) and to put 4-5 axes out to capture that gems city from the barbs. The whip anger is already out of all cities, so a major MM to grow cities and them whip this items is in order. I also suggest to keep the research on currency , if needed using research to avoid entering a maintenance death spiral.
