and saying along with the song "I shot a sheriff." I'm not sure if this has something to do with the Congresswoman who just got shot or the judge who got killed for standing next to her... or if it's supposed to be a hint about Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, who's a friend of Congresswoman Gifford and has been denouncing the public vitriol that triggered the deranged man's attack on her.

I still believe in Limbaugh's freedom of speech. But it's pretty clear Limbaugh does not believe in Sheriff Dupnik's.

Freedom of speech does not permit advocacy of violence, it's time Republicans stopped hiding behind that and faced responsibility for their actions.

Your right there are laws against incitement. Now ask yoruself does this break that law?

It's categorically not directly calling for acts of violence. Instead, he's cavalierly playing with the whole idea of what all the responsible people are saying about how at atmosphere of rhetorical hysteria and fear mongering leads marginal or unstable people to commit acts of violence in a well armed society.

Limbaugh is always making fun of people who believe in taking responsibility for what goes on in the community. It's the psychology of the perpetual child.

He's making a mockery of everyone blaming him.

Good song, and I will be the first to admit that this guy occasionally has some meaningful points. Occasionally.....

The more offended you are, the more he wins.

While true, there is also a fine line there that if crossed, could cost him big time.

Take Michael Savage for instance. The man makes Limbaugh look like a teddy bear in comparison. But Savage's extreme in-your-face rhetoric has cost him a lot of opportunity not to mention viewership ratings. Savage plays to the more extreme fringe...Limbaugh on the other hand, has mastered the ability to cater to a much wider audience.

Slightly related: Clear Channel has decided the Limbaugh "straight-shooter" billboard in Tucson is tasteless given their recent events.

Roger Ailes, chief of operations at the right-wing Fox News network, reportedly told his employees to tone down their rhetoric on-air.

"You don't have to do it with bombast," he explained in an recent interview.
Well, well, well.

I can't wait for the head of Fox News to come under attack for "blaming" this incident on the rhetoric of the far-right, as have so many others who have expressed the same comments recently.

You mean like Barack the Magic Negro?

Maybe he just for weed legalization.
