Well ... an SMG is usually (technically, always) a machine pistol. But some of them look something like rifles, especially those with a wooden stock. Some Soviet models like the PPD-34 and PPD-40 (1930s-early 40s) look a bit like small rifles with a short barrel, though they do fire pistol rounds:
now check the first post, you will see the correct unit and weapon. that was soooo lame, i spent like an hour at 1:30 AM putting units up and i mixed up the screenshots
Yeah... I kinda have to concur here... what's with the hat?
I'm still looking for a really good WWII Russian infantry... preferably with a helmet (the ones I've seen so far aren't high quality... GarretSidzaka is one of our really good model makers, but dang... what's with the hat?)
Well the hat is in-vogue if it's the late 1800s... but everything else about the model screams mid 1900s... I think this guy is about 50-years out of fashion... because of the hat!
Maybe if I were a Brit guard standing in front of a palace... (I just mentioned it, cos I thought it a shame - just like the silly Chinese hats of RtW... I'm sorry, just have to agree with Wolfshanze here...)
BTW, Wolfshanze, I knew you didn't misspell yer sig - but there's just a whole lotta misspelling out there...
