Saddam Hussein's Execution on TV

I read a lot of emotive posts about users wanting the former rais to be executed 180 000 times, etc... Some irakians want the tribunal to let the people kill Hussein. There is some kind of tasty barbarism going on in a lot of minds from Middle East to the USA (via the United Kingdom).
Considering the TV coverage of the war 3 years ago, why not get a live show for the execution ?

A public hanging would be appropriate, but too risky and thus not a good idea. It will be done privately, and I'm sure it is going to be videotaped so eventually people will see the footage regardless.

Nope! Seeing a person pretending to die for a fictional tv show is one thing. Watching a person actually die is a whole other kettle of fish.

Death should be a personal matter, with as few people present as possible. I was disgusted when bootleg videos of the Crocodile Hunter's death were put online.

I remember watching Nicolae Ceauşescu being executed by firing squad on TV in 1989 (I think it was). Wouldn't wish it again or on others.

It would be funny if they broadcast on US TV. You'll be able to see an execution on TV, but a woman's nipple is off limits.

If it is on TV. Would it be PG14?

Did the the US have executions on TV before? What did the parental advisory panel say?

I'm against the death penalty in general, so I would consider this even worse. However, I expect it will be played, at least on tape, on many stations throughout the Middle East.
