Sapphire X1650 PRO Graphics Card

I recently deinstalled my civ4 BTS software and reinstalled it,i just wanted to clear all the MODS i had installed.

Ever since when playing and reaching around the 100 turn the game constantly abruptly crashes and the window automaticaly closes.
Prior to deinstalling my civ4 BTS software this problem never existed.I deinstalled my graphics card software and reinstalled but the problem persists.

The message i constantly get when the window crashes is that i should adjust or lower my graphics settings because the automatic temporary memory save fails to save or exicutes an order in an unkown way

Any suggestions??

As i correctly recall when ever i completely reinstalled by pc drivers and utilities from scratch and eventually got to the point of installing civ4,i would have to download some sort of be it graphic software or utility software i cant remember from an internet site.

Perhaps some-one knows which site and downloads i,m talking about.Surely this could possibly help.

...er...is it not possible that you can say what you should have to download?
Maybe the current version of DirectX?
