I've just launched the 2006 scenario and discovered that the map doesn't provide enough improvements such as farms. I played Netherlands for a few minutes and my cities pop kept decreasing due to lack of food. Was this your intention? I do have some mines.

BTW, Vladimir Poetin just started nuking a city near baghdad (6 ICBM's should cover it...) and says he's studied on killing me :eek: :eek: :p

also, Italy does seem to have a somewhat disproportionately strong position to begin with, I wonder how that happend ;)

Overall, its looks quite good I must say, and I need talented mapmakers like you Italicus.
 
Erdogan is the Prime Minister of the secular Republic of Turkey and by putting the state religion as Islam you are wrong in two senses:
a) Turkey has no state religion, and thus runs a policy of 'Free Religion'.
b) if the state religion is being used as a tool to create heightened political allegiances for the sake of realism, you'll find that Turkey has warmer relations with the West (for example; Turkey is a member of NATO, is applying to join the EU, actually recognises the legitimacy of Israel...list could go on).

Apart from that, an impressive amount of detail and an excellent scenario. I'm just being a bit picky on the matter of accuracy.
 
just wondering...was their a purpose to adding bi planes? unless of course some country in the mod uses them..:D

The biplanes and other unities that I have added later, are for the standard game with other maps...

Turkey has good relationships with the western countries and israele in fact, and it doesn't have the theocracy, but it seemed too much me give free religion.

I have had to remove the Barbaric cities and to assign her to the Arab World because Vladimir Putin bombed her with ICBM. :D
 
Mistakes:

1) Turkey is NOT and never will be an Islamic state. That is of course your scenario Italicus but I must warn you that the Turkish people has adopted free religion civic since 1928!!!

2) Van is in the wrong place of the map. And some names are false, like Adana. Izmir. Istanbul...etc

3) I run the game but as I saw that Turkey had a state religion, I was not sure that you knew us very well. That made me sad :(

4) Another handicap is that this map is very difficult to be played because it is huge and a lot of computers will have to wait at least 30 seconds for the next turn. This is insane man!!! It is not worth it...

5) For unplanned mapping and distribution of the cities, some cities have not enough food supply. Like the Netherlands and Turkey too. I wished you had run an investigation about how populated these areas are and gave food according to these analyses. For example Istanbul has 12 million people, while Izmir has 6 million. How much is Rome? So the city population values should be according to this real statistics and reflect this mentioned populations.

I wrote only the mistakes I found according to me. No hard feelings ok? Keep up the good work...
 
A mod doesn't reproduce the Constitution of a country, but it be an approximation.

Israele certainly has free religion, and I also thinks the Iran declare it to words.
But would it be realistic? It's realistic to say that the free religion that there is in Turkey, Egypt, etc. it is the same one of the western countries? I don't believe.
However you can always make the revolution and to change playing. ;)
 
At least we do not swore to the Bible that we will say only the truth in the courts or marry in a church... how is that?

There may be radicals in our country more than in other countries but what you really must refer to is the tolerance of free religion in our country is as good as any other European so called "Liberal" country.

Aaahh I give up, make what you will I know that you are the better of worse. Some believe that we are still the Ottomans, some say that we still wear the red cap "Fes", others say that it is not Istanbul but Konstantinopolis. Bah! What the heck!

I cannot make you change the way you see us. With peace...
 
tahnkout remembered that this is only a game. Playing can also happen that the Arab World becomes Christian or Jews, and as approximation seems me wrong to say that the religion free that there is in Turkey is the same one that there is in the United Kingdom!
The names then I have put them in Italian because it takes too time put the TAG, and I didn't want to play with the names English, Turkish, or Croatian. If others peoples want to play, I am happy, but after all the mod I have mainly created for me.
I repeat therefore that these things you can personally change it in Game.
 
Well...its not realistic scenario. Sorry for tell it so bad, but its true.
First at all you have to check your cities position and replace some of them or rename because some countries are unrealistic big and some unrealistic small(huge Hungary,Austria, Croatia, Swizerland). For gameplaying I higly support divide small countries to groups. For example ally Portugal with Spain, Czechs+Poland+Hungary+Slovakia(Visegrad group), Scandinavia+Denmark, UK+Ireland,...
Some strange things I saw when I started play as Klaus. It looks like Česká Republika is Hungary in the game and Magyar is Czech Republic. It needs check...if you want make scenario playable for all small countries which you chose, you have to check cities places very deep-dyedly...it looks like you making it from your mind..what is possibly on small maps, but not on huge ones.
 
You truth, for me it is not this way. The cities I have not systematized from my mind, but with geographical maps.
I don't understand the motive to added small nations making to become her superpowers... On the Czech republic and the Hungary I thank you for the signaling, the error that is been corrected in the WBS fileo and it will be ready in the next version.

Because number of uselles small countries lowers speed and very small number of people has computers needed for your scenario.

(Cities and nations)
Example:In geographical map is Prague(Czech rep.) above Linz(Austria) and in the same level as for example Frankfurt(Germany). Do u see little difference between Geographical map and your scenario? :) In the view for coastal cities its good, but cities in inland have completely another positions than in real...

I like the addition of small nations. They could form an alliance to take down a big nation, they could be absorbed by a larger nation making it more powerful... And Tankhout, I think of Istanbul as Constantinople. (maybe because I am Armenian)
 
And one more thing, if Italicus takes some small civs out, it won't affect the speed dramatically. Since he is using the 32 civ DLL by Dale, no matter how many civilizations are on the map, be it 20 or 32, the game will be played as if there were 32, or close to it.

EDIT: Tankhout, why is Adana a false name?! Its the name of an Armenian city, where the Armenian population was viciously destroyed by Ottomans!
 
How is the next version coming along Italicus. Personally I would like the names in Italian.;)
