Scientists show direct correlation between new King Kong movie, and awesomeness.

I don't know what to think! It is a remake of one of the greatest movies ever, would I watch this instead of the original?

The beggining part of the trailer was disturbingly alot like the a 1930's movie (except in color). At the same time the 1930s style is what has me interested in the film. Its a 1930's action film with modern day fx, which looks awsome.

If it wasn't a remake of an existing film, I would think it was going be absolutely amazing and Number 1 on my must see list after I get to see War of the Worlds.

Its nothing like I expected (I thought it would take place in the presnet), and the prospect of seeing dinosaurs fighting Kong and Kong going on a rampage of Depression era New York is too much to resist. I loved King Kong, its one of my favorite movies and since remaking classic films hasn't been really succesful I'm going to be very skeptical.

And don't forget "it wasn't the planes. It was beauty that killed the beast."

Is this the third or fourth remake of King Kong now?

Good for Peter Jackon, bad for memories of the oldies.

No, it's good for the oldies as well. They will almost certainly release the old version on DVD now, and it's probably number one on my list of great movies that have never been on DVD.

I never saw Van Helsing, but it was a great movie because the marketing for it included DVD releases of the original Frankenstein, Dracula and Wolf Man movies.

I was kind of skeptical when I heard Jack Black was in it. I love Jack Black but I wasn't sure if he could pull off a serious roll, but from that preview it looks like he will suprise alot of people.
