I'm liking the experience gained by units for revealing new tiles, it is a CBP thing isn't it? Can't remember seeing it before. Anyway just a question about the cap for it.
Does it stop automatically at 47/60 or is there some other variable at play?
Also I can't recall where to enable and set barbs giving XP.

Thank you again for continuing this great mod pack.

Just had this clarified for me. It is NOT the same as the barbarian XP cap which is defined in the file mentioned above, it is BALANCE_SCOUT_XP_MAXIMUM defined in - Core Values\CoreDefines.sql as part of the CP package, NOT the Balance package.

Hey @Gazebo, is there anyway to make the new trailblazer promotions work in a way to let you choose which terrain movement bonus you get first? It would be nice to be able to pick desert movement first over forest movement in some situations.

This is a random place to ask, but whatever. You could, theoretically, remove the prereqs from II and III, but that'd break prereqs for top-tier promotions.

Now that someone brought it up, I'm really not sold on the whole Trailblazer thing. The unit being able to move faster in rough terrain than in open terrain really makes no sense to me. Any other path one could pursue for a scout upgrade line?

Not really. Besides, why not? Your scouts are explorers, they can become masters of rough terrain. Incans move faster on forested hills than non-forested hills. Same for Iroquois/Songhai w/ forests/rivers.

Incas and Songhai never move faster on their respective terrain than they do on flat grassland (only the same speed) Iroquois I'm not really sure about, been a while since a last played them.

I don't think that no matter how good of an explorer you are, you're going to move faster in a jungle than in an open field.

The Songhai and Iroquois definitely do.

After playing songhai in the last 3 versions I can definitely say that they are capped at at their max movepoints per turn when it comes to moves. It is quite possible that this is a bug, I remember a time where they could move 3 steps while crossing a river, but that is definitely no longer the case.

I can confirm this, I like playing as Songhai, but I'd like theirs bonus from crossing a river back :P

Yeah, their UA feels kinda boring now. Their old UA was really really fun, was one of my favorite civs after the Tabya got fixed.

Also, Scouts that pass by Mt Kilimanjaro move faster along consecutive hill tiles.

It was a bug - whereas before they'd actually get faster going back and forth across rivers, now they move along them slightly faster than normal.

They don't move along them any faster than normal, it costs 1 movepoint to move one step along a river. Yes I know that they are moving faster in rough terrain than they would normally, but not faster than they move in an open field.

I also know that it's a bug, but it is really draining the fun of the UA.

There WAS a bug that made you speed up as you moved across rivers, but crushing that may have adversely affected the movement along them. Ilteroi has been paged.
