Did I see "partisans" (I believe they were Macemen) pop-up in one of the Gamespot videos after a city had been captured (and razed)?

I also just noticed something else. Looking at the screen shots I see we can GIFT the Corporate Executive Unit to another civilization. This suggests an interesting glitch to me . . . You need to pay to spread a corporation to a new city, but if I gift the executive to the AI or to my buddy and HE spreads it doesn't he pay the cost? Which would mean I got the benefit of spreading the corporation, but didn't pay for it.
I'm going out from the assumption that once a city is 'converted' to a certain Corporation, this city can train an executive of this Corporation anyway.
Under this assumption, putting an Executive in a strategically disadvantaged city is only a short-term gain.

This assumption is false. You need to have the Corp HQ to train an executive.
And in the above example how can the disadvantaged civilization get ethanol into their main production city? They can't. They forever lose that ability.
I bet that's the result of a completed quest. I reckon it'd be the one that requires the building of forges.
