Screenshots: The Subtle Informant

That "fort" is just the Castle already in Civ 4. I thought the same thing when I first saw it.

You mean the "castle" city improvement? Because I thought it was a new fort. I never build fort (who does) so I don't know how it would normally look.

Posted this in another thread but should be added to the list in the OP here.

The city info mouseover now includes maintenance and some info on buildings in the city. These little things will make managing an empire so much easier.
:goodjob:

Don't know if it was mentioned already: I see in some pics there is a red circle on the map relating to a random event. I wonder if all random events refer to a location? Hmm.

So what's the point of this screenshot? I don't see anything that makes it pic-worthy.

Unless it's that black cross-looking thing W of Nampo.

I saw the Granary, Lighthouse, Forge, Library line and I couldn't tell whether that is a list of what is cued to build, or something else. I can't image it lists all buildings built because that would be really long later in the game! I wonder...

I was trying to figure out the point of that one, too. Maybe to demonstrate that Steve can see the builds in those English cities down south?

I saw somwhere a road that surrounds a farm like a roundabout, it doesn´t happen in Vanills.

I think it shows the consequence of passive espionage. Eventaully you get line of sight to rival cities even if you don't have your religion there. In consequence a nerf of the benefits of establishing your state religion in a rival's city?

Spy has commando promotion, but movement down to 1, from 2 in Warlords.

or maybe it shows colonization somehow, like England was the mother country and then coloninized america??

So maybe Hastings and Nottingham have active espionage (or a recent spy visit) since I can see what they're building, but I can't for York or any of the Korean cities?

The Native Americans' flag can be seen here. It's kind of hard to see, but it looks like a buffalo.

I don't see it. Can you crop it and upload it here?

Another observation: I really am pleased to see the airships! Now we see in pic 2 of 64 that airships have Rebase, Recon and Bombing buttons... But I am puzzled by the pale yellow diagonal lines (no airpower buttons are active either) superimposed all over the map?

If you look at the lower left, it says "Air Strike Mode". The yellow lines must represent the range of the airship to air strike a unit.
