@Sonreal: If you want screenshots without the UI, I think the default key is F12 and it goes to a screenshot folder in your my documents folder IIRC. There is also an unbound option for acrobatic smoke in the key binds too, its fun flying around with a trail of smoke coming out of your wings or tail (colour options are in the gameplay menu).

I think the key is actually Prnt Screen, but I took it with the UI because of the fuel leak. Also, thanks for the heads up. I was wondering what all that smoke others had was coming from.

Since I'm not entirely sure if it actually makes me go faster, I have a habit of spamming the space key when I'm being pursued while in a bomber since I assume the weight going away helps me and I'll just restock at base anyway.

The best time the tactic worked was when I was flying so low to the ground that the bomb actually did somehow kill the guy pursuing me. Of course, it stopped working when I got gunned at from a guy diving at me. Unfortunately for the both of us, he miscalculated the dive greatly and crashed into me.

Bombs do add weight and can slow you down a bit, but I'm not sure if it will really help you outrun most planes.

Does it still matter in arcade mode, given the ammo respawn hmm?

I'd like to try the Historical or Full Real, but am waiting until I get home to my joystick and get some proper configurations set up.

It still has a small effect upon maneuverability when they are loaded but not after you have dropped them. Its not terribly noticeable though. Mouse & keyboard work fine in HB mode, its only FRB mode that requires a joystick.
