I didn't get to finish Ep1 due to loading problems, but aren't there suppsoed to be mroe people on that train?

Where did they go? Did they jsut leave Gordon Freeman behind? (Which i seriously doubt they would).

Nope, only Alyx and Gordon were on that train. Barney left with the other citizens of City 17 in a different one. They were suppose to meet up but Barney wasn't in Episode 2.

Playing a game of HoI2 as the US, and before the Second World War even begins, the AI goes and screws everything up.

What happened:

Czechoslovakia refuses to give up Sudetenland so Germany declares war.
Poland declares war on Germany right after.
Germany annexes both.
Soviet Union declares war.

It's due to the annexing of Poland without the Soviets agreeing to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. I do wish that it would fire automatically if Germany goes to war with Poland early, as it's a near-guarantee it will lead to an early war between the Soviets and Germans.

And now Italy, Hungary, Yugoslavia, and Romania have joined the Axis. Bulgaria is also at war with the Soviets, but not in the Axis. For some reason they declared war on Tannu Tuva.

And to make it even stranger, the Republicans are actually winning the Spanish Civil War.

I had something strange happen in my latest HOI game, my first time as the UK

everything goes as Normal until 1940, France falls ahead of schedule

Germany declares war on republican spain, Portugal joins the Axis but thanks to French and British troops become a part of Spain

the Americans join the allies in 1940

Yugoslavia joins the axis, USSR declares war on Germany and captures Berlin while the Allies struggle up Italy

Germany become Paternal Autocrat, Hitler and Hess are deposed, the war continues
