Who plays video games with their parents?![]()
Nobody really said anything about playing games with their parents? Some kids just have their computers in the common room of a house where the screen is in plain sight, apparently.

How many Romans were actually killed by your archers? A half-dozen?
EDIT: Also, get some cavalry!
Mass Effect had raunchy moments?
I think at least 40% were killed by my ranged units, the rest ran into my Spartan Phalanxes (or whatever they're called) and they didn't take a single casualty. Cavalry would have been useless on the bridge, they would've just been slaughtered. In any other circumstance, I'd have Cavalry Auxilia to throw at the front lines and retreat while other cavalry flanked them, but the bridge kind of limits flanking. I should mention that I sacrificed one whole unit of regular hoplites to allow my elite units to set up on the bridge.
bridge maps in RTW almost invariably have a ford elsewhere for trivially easy flanking
This is utterly shocking to me. Are you playing a mod? Usually, heavy troops are immune to archers and slingers.
Cavalry would only need to be used in the pursuit phase of the battle--always fun and necessary on hard campaigns to cut down the runners. Since it's a random battle, I guess it doesn't matter.
Yup, you usually have to watch two crossings, minimum. Same in ETW, in the rare cases you had a river map.
I can't freaking wait until SotS2 is finished.
Eye-candy from Sword in the Stars 2
This is a "Ghost Ship" event:
the equivalent of an automated super science rogue ship from Antares randomly "de-colonizing" one of your planets.
